He tempts her by telling her how beautiful she is. He showers her with compliments. The fly is wise at first and says that those who go into the house never come out again.  The spider tries to tell her that it would be different for her because of how beautiful she is. Alas, the fly falls for the persuasive spider and goes into his home. Unfortunately the spider eats the fly. The moral of this story is never be persuaded by someone like the spider.
