         <description><![CDATA[<div>1. P1: Precision monitoring to get students familiar with Sight Words. In class and home practice.<br>P2: More focussed time for IEP/GEP. Do 1-1 reading.&nbsp;<br>Students' progress can be seen over time.<br>2. P2: Spiced up reading lessons especially lesson 4 where reading comprehension is involved. Lesson is gamified. It becomes a "challenge" lesson. Each child has a bell and they can ring it to answer a question. Tokens get awarded for correct answers. Students are engaged.&nbsp;<br>3. Buzzers purchased from Learning Resource. Gameshow format. Stickers given as rewards. Teachers also get to know students better (build TSR).&nbsp;<br>Character study based on Willy and Hugh. Activities were done using coloured post-it notes. Coloured post-its enticed the students to participate in the activity. Additional activities weaved into lessons e.g., letter writing to encourage students to practice spelling words<br>Teacher would work with the weaker students 1-1.&nbsp;<br>4. Incorporate fun actions to get students to participate in lessons. Techer spends focused time with students with weaker home support. This helps them to build up confidence in reading with the teacher supporting them. <br><br></div>]]></description>

I give two options to the answer and everyone has to answer using the fast kit to show their answer. This is to give individual opportunities to all to answer during reading comprehension lesson.<br>- One-minute and spelling of 5 words every day. Having consistency and repetitive practices during lessons.</div><div>- Build rapport with students. For students with low-progress / frequent absenteeism, I give little rewards to encourage them to come to school more regularly. I conduct an extra lesson for one of my P2 students to help him in his learning and I use the P1 LSP resources with him.<br><br></div>]]></description>
