We like the idea of providing multiple "types" of reading, like reading aloud, reading in your head, audiobook, reader's theater, and explaining to students that all of these types of reading are reading. They all "count."

We agree that all students should be allowed to read grade level texts and like the idea of accommodating for them to get there instead of modifying the texts to a lower reading level. In ALL content classes, if the text is being read aloud (in any way) it should be at grade level.

We would really like an app that highlights each word as it is read to the student. The best one we found is called Voice Dream Reader, but it's $14.99.

Encouraging and modeling voice-to-text writing in all classes as a valid and real resource that we use naturally in our lives outside of school.

We want experiment more with heterogenous grouping and watching kids teach each other, giving everyone an opportunity to learn.

Using the bullseye answer strategy to help ALL students with multiple choice questions.
