We listened to orientation, and found main idea in a paragraph. Since there isn’t that much time left for us to study for midterm exam, I’ll have to continuously study vocabularies and textbook.

We solved No. 21 and No. 23 question in national study test… ~~ㅎ. 모의고사 뭐라고 하는지 모르겠다.~~ Alrighty, I can know something now. (LoL) Anyway, I learned about assimilation in question No. 21. I've never heard it before, so it's concept was interesting. Also 'Fish is Fish-style assimilation' too! In No. 23, I also learned about the concept of race. There're so many opinions to define races, but this writing let me knew that. Lucky me! I'm wondering about next class.

I learned the reading text of the lesson 1, ‘Where Should I Begin?’. A student named Philip who has just entered the high school was worried about his school life and future, but a director of photographer adviced to Philip what he should do to solve his problem.

Through making my own quiz and solving the problems, I was able to understand the text well.

I learned other reasons why looking at ourselves in the social mirror is necessary. ‘We can’t know all of ourselves without social mirror’ and ‘We can avoid to being an individual person by looking at ourselves through the social mirror’ are some of them.

I also realized that speed of speaking get fast when I deliver the presentation in front of other people, so I thought I should care about it in other presentations.

우리 반 모든 조의 주제(주장)가 같다는 것이 놀라웠다. 사회적 거울을 통해 자신을 바라보면 자기 자신을 객관화할 수 있다는 점이 모든 조가 공통으로 가져온 근거였고, 오늘 발표를 통해 inner mirror만 가지기 보다는 social mirror를 가지는 자세를 수용하도록 노력해야겠다.

사회적 시선을 고려함으로써 사회적 감각을 기를 수 있다는 생각은 하지 못했는데 신선했다.
그리고 연습할 때는 완벽하게 외운 상태로 막힘없이 말할 수 있었는데 막상 교실 앞에 나가니 머릿속이 하얘져서 말을 더듬거렸다. 다음에는 그러지 않도록 사람들 앞에서도 말하는 연습을 많이 할 것이다.

모든 반 친구들이 사회적 관점으로 자신을 바라보는 것이 필요하다고 간주한 점이 의외였다. 가장 많이 나온 근거는 “자기 객관화 가능”이었다. 본문의 입장과는 다른 입장을 들을 수 있어 교육적으로 좋은 시간이었다. 두 상반되는 입장을 삶에 적용시켜 정신적으로 건강한 사람으로 거듭날 수 있었으면 좋겠다고 느꼈다.

다음에 발표할때는 안보고 할 수 있도록 더 연습하고 다른 사람들을 보고 발표하는 연습을 더 해야겠다는 생각이 들었다.

First English presentation in BIHS.
It’s not easy task to do.
But! It’s not so hard task that I could handle it.🤓
영어로 말을 하려고 하니
사고과정이 좀 길어져서 더 촘촘하게 준비할 필요가 있을 듯하다
그리고 앞에 나가서 청중의 눈을 마주치니
내용이 까먹어지는 효과를 경험할 수 있었다.
자연스럽게 사람눈을 바라보는 방법을 갈구해야겠다.
그리고 발표를 하는 것 만큼이나, 듣는 것도 굉장한 집중력을 요한다.
뒷받침 칸에 최대한 요약해서 적고 싶었는데
요약하려다 보니 ‘어어’ 하다가 놓치기도 했다.
다음엔 더욱 심혈을 기울여 키워드를 잡아보겠다.

Today we had a presentation about 'Looking at ourselves in the social mirror is unnecessary or not.'. OMG. I was so surprised that all of my classmates were tooo perfect! Even though not many differences were on our details, each examples and the way to express their thought were different. I think that is the reason why all writings are different.
I wanted to memorize all of my part paragraph, but I couldn't. Maybe it was matter of me, not being earnest. I'll have to pay more attention and not to be lazy. Cheer up me…🥲
