This article talks about what we can do together as a society, to have create an inclusive environment. It outlines why the school as a whole, need to be considered when locating and implementing SEN resource base. There are two strategies to implement SEN with mainstream school setting, 1. students join mainstream classes but receive a number of hours of additional support from staff or 2. be accommodated in a specialist resource base within the school. The different strategies helps students by combining the value of inclusive experiences in a wider school setting with provision of specialist support tailored to an individual's particular needs. It also benefits students with special needs by providing them with opportunities of increased social interactions with their peers.

Although this article is based in Great Britain, there are a lot of examples that can be beneficial to students in the United States. The articles main argument is that teacher must remain creative and flexible in order to meet the needs and optimise the capabilities of all pupils. The study was done through a survey and participants answered questions on how they adapt to students with special needs. The online resource tool proved to be beneficial to pre-service teacher, as they were more adaptive and implemented more of what the resource had to say. It was also an important tool for teachers when planning for lessons and assessments. By making the reasonable adjustments, teachers are able to create well-structured lesson and an engaging curriculum for all their students.
