I know this show doesn't ever explicitly say that Abed is autistic- I can't decide if I want it to or not- but I wish the show maybe did a better job at highlighting this

I wish the show didn't focus so much on lack of empathy- which a lot of shows do- because it can give the stereotype that individuals with ASDS or not caring or in touch with emotions, which is not always the case

I love how the show used him as just a part of the family and did not portray him as having a disability. They wanted to include him like he is one of us! Also, how the show used inclusivity for the autism community.
