this week i learnt to Determine the importance and urgency of tasks. Use tools to categorise tasks into four quadrants: urgent and important, important but not urgent, urgent but not important, and neither urgent nor important.

i now Make a daily or weekly to-do list. Larger projects should be divided into smaller, more manageable steps. This allows me to stay organized and focused on the tasks at hand.

i also learnt about mind mapping, Mind mapping is a visual technique for representing and organising information in a hierarchical and interconnected fashion. It is a graphical tool that assists us students in brainstorming, organising their thoughts, making decisions, and comprehending complex concepts. Mind maps are typically built around a central concept or idea, from which they branch into related topics or subtopics.

this week i learnt about myers briggs,Each person is assigned a four-letter personality type based on their preferences along these four dichotomies. A "ENFJ" (Extraverted, Intuitive, Feeling, Judging) personality type, for example, or a "ISTP" (Introverted, Sensing, Thinking, Perceiving) personality type.

It is worth noting that, while the MBTI is widely used and popular, it is not without its critics. When compared to more modern personality tests, some argue that it oversimplifies personality and lacks scientific rigour. i learnt from this that myers briggs is used in workplace and personal development settings to help individuals understand their communication styles, work preferences, and potential areas for growth.

the first week.

we had an activity about our story. i learnt this week that everyone's story is different and we all have similar but different hopes and fears. my story consists of me being shy and not liking to be around others but seeing everyone else feel comfortable with eachother helped a bit. i learnt i wasnt the only shy one and we are all on this journey together even the lectures.

colour theory

this week i learnt about colour theory and how it is used in marketing etc.Colours play an important role in brand identity. Colour consistency in branding contributes to the development of a recognisable and memorable brand image. Consider Coca-Cola's iconic use of red, or Facebook's soothing blue. Colour perception can be influenced by cultural and demographic factors. Marketers must consider their target audience's colour preferences and cultural associations in order for the colours chosen to resonate effectively. in conclusion i learnt colours matter alot in our work and i will be trying to use colour in my work for the future considering my favorite colour is black.

using printers and target setting

i learnt this week that i need to Be specific about what you want to accomplish. Avoid using ambiguous language and make sure your goal is clear,Establish specific metrics for measuring progress. This could be in the form of numbers, percentages, or other measurable metrics.

Set goals that are both realistic and attainable. While it is good to aim high, setting goals that are achievable is preferable. this week taught me im very bad at setting goals and following through with them but after these sessions i can confirm it will be alot easier with the right path.

this week i learnt Surrealism is a literary and artistic movement that emerged in the early twentieth century, primarily following World War I. It represented a significant departure from traditional artistic styles, emphasising irrational and imaginative expression. Surrealism sought to explore the realms of dreams, the unconscious mind, and the fantastic. this was the only thing i learnt this week as i was sick and didnt complete it but i learnt our work is expression so the way we feel will show on our work regardless.
