Today was the first day of practice. We looked through the documents that Anastasiya Mikhailovna sent us in Google Classroom. To show that we understood everything, we made a group presentation with three people in each group.

The day was a bit difficult because we had to keep many things in mind. It was hard to read so much information that Anastasiya Mikhailovna gave us. First, I didn’t have enough patience. Second, the letters were too small. Third, there was just too much information.

But working in a team helped me get through these problems.

Also, today I learned how to use the Padlet app and created my own diary there.

At the end of the day, we practiced tongue twisters in Russian and English, which really helped and made the atmosphere more fun.

Today was the second day of our introductory translation practice.

We received task number 11, which was about working with texts.

Today I learned how to do pre-translation analysis, create glossaries, and do post-translation analysis.

To be honest, I had some difficulties. I couldn’t understand the post-translation analysis part for a while — it was a bit hard for me. My eyes got tired and I had a headache because I was focusing too much while working on the task.

So, I decided to finish faster and made the tables a bit shorter.

Today, we focused on learning how to pronounce and translate big numbers, dates, and temperatures. 🔢📅🌡️ We practiced saying them clearly in English and then translated everything into Russian.

It was fun but also a bit tricky at times. 😅 It was a little hard to remember everything my partner was saying in English and translate it right away. 🧠💬

On the video, we looked really tired and low-energy. 😓🎥 But Samira and I supported each other and kept going until the very end, without giving up. 💪💖 We told each other it would be better to finish everything now instead of delaying. And we did it! ✅🙌

Still, I’m glad I finally learned how to correctly say temperatures in both Celsius and Fahrenheit! 📈🌍

Today we worked on translation again. 📝 Our task was to do a pre-translation analysis, create glossaries, translate the text, and then complete a post-translation analysis — including transformations and equivalents. 🔍💬 We also had to write down fixed expressions from the text. 📚

This time, there were not five paragraphs like last time, but ten! 😮 Luckily, the text was a bit easier. In the end, we had to record another video where we translated each other’s parts. 🎥

The most difficult part was again the amount of work — it took around 6 to 7 hours to finish everything. ⏳😵 But we managed to complete it all! ✅💪

Amina wasn’t with us physically today, but she joined us online. 💻 It was harder without a third person, but we handled it just fine. 🙌

And the best part — while making our glossaries, we learned lots of new words today! 🧠✨

Today, Samira and I did our practice outside in the fresh air. 🌳☀️ Our task was to do consecutive translation for each other using the texts. 🔁💬

The only problems we had were that our battery was running low 🔋⚠️ and we weren’t sure exactly what we were supposed to translate. Some parts of the text were in Russian, and some were in English, so we decided to translate both — just in case. 🤷‍♀️🗒️

Then we noticed that in the first task, all the paragraphs were almost the same, with just one extra sentence added to each one. So, to save time and not repeat everything 7 times, we decided to translate only the final paragraph. ✅🧠

Today, I also learned how to pronounce some technology-related terms correctly! 💻🔧

Today, Samira and I worked outside again. 🌳🌤️

Our task was once more to translate a text. We had to do a pre-translation analysis, make a glossary, write out fixed expressions, and then complete a post-translation analysis. 📝📚🔍

The text this time wasn’t shortened — it was actually quite long, so it still took a lot of time to finish everything. 📄⏳ But in the assignment it was allowed to cut this text in half, which made life easier.

Even though there weren’t any serious problems, the process was tiring. 😓

At the end, we filmed a video of our consecutive translation — using the last of our energy. 🎥😮‍💨

But the good news is: I’m no longer afraid of this task. I finally understand how to do it properly and feel more confident now! 💪😊

Today is the first day of my practice at the camp in the new IUCA campus. In the morning, we registered and had breakfast. I met my team and our two mentors — one from Taiwan and one from the United States.

At first, I felt shy and a bit uncomfortable. Everything was new, and I didn’t know how to talk to people. But I decided to speak more with others and smile. Little by little, I felt better and more confident.

We had an opening ceremony, then we sang together. After that, we talked more with our team, had lunch, and played games during the team-building activities. We also sang and danced again, which helped me feel more relaxed.

Later, we had a lecture by Monica called "Finding Gold in You". It was very interesting, and we discussed it in groups. Then I joined a workshop called "Happy Chinese Characters", and in the evening we had dinner.

I learned that speaking with people helps me feel less shy. I also learned how important teamwork is. It was a long and busy day, but I feel happy and proud of myself.

Today was the second day of camp 🌞. We started with breakfast 🍽️ and singing 🎶. After that, we had a lecture from Danny called "Talent" 🌟. It was really interesting and gave me a lot to think about 🤔.

Then we had a team discussion about the topic 💬. Everyone shared their thoughts, and it helped us understand each other better 💛.

Later, we played games 🎯. I felt a bit stressed 😣 because I wanted to do well, but in the end — we won! 🏆 That made me so happy and proud 😄.

After the games, we had lunch 🍛 and more team building 🤝. Then we sang and danced again 🎤💃, which made the mood even better.

In the evening, we had a creative service brainstorming session led by Wendy 💡. It was fun to come up with ideas together 🧠✨.

For today’s workshop, I chose Self-Defence 🥋. I really liked it! We learned cool and useful moves to protect ourselves 💪. It made me feel strong and confident 😊.

After that, we had dinner 🍲 and ended the day. I’m a bit tired 😴, but I learned that even if I feel stressed, I can still do gr

eat things 💫.

Today we went to Arkan Tokoi in Bishkek 🏞️. It’s a place where you go through challenges and choose your own level 💪. I picked level 2 for my first time — it was really hard 😵, but I did it! I’m proud of myself 🎉.

At noon, we returned to the university 🚌 to prepare for the talent show 🎭. It didn’t go very well… and I felt a lot of stress 😔. I was nervous and disappointed, but I tried my best.

Later, when I came home, I finally started to feel better 🏡. I was able to forget about the stress and relax a little 😌.

Today was difficult, but I learned that I can face big challenges — even when things don’t go perfectly 💫.

Today was the last day of camp 😢🎉. I feel happy and sad at the same time. We had our Community Service project 🤝. Our group went to Pokrovka 🏡. We found a family in need, and with a budget of 3000 soms, we bought them many useful things 🛍️.

We also cooked lunch and ate together 🍲❤️. The family has six children, and they are all so kind and talented. One of the boys, only 10 years old, knows over 130 countries by their flags! 🌍🚩 That’s just amazing! It’s sad that right now they don’t have many chances to grow and reach their full potential 😔.

Later, we had presentations about our Community Service projects 📊. Everything went well. Then we had more songs and dances 🎶💃, and a final lecture about forgiving people and letting go 🌿. It was very touching and meaningful to me.

Overall, I really enjoyed today. It was full of emotions, kindness, and beautiful memories 💛✨.
