Church de Santo André de Vila Boa de Quires.
The Church of Santo André of Vila Boa de Quires in the early thirteenth century belonged to the Order of St. Benedict, having passed the parish church between 1309 and 1320. The arrangement and sculpture of the main portal follow models used in the churches of the Monasteries of Paço de Sousa and São Pedro de Roriz. The south lateral portal, which shows a bull and a lion supporting the tympanum, has capitals similar to those of the Church of St. Gens de Boelhe

The fairs, festivals and pilgrimages are part of the soul of the Portuguese people, they reveal traditions, customs and popular customs. They are attractive attractions for tourists, pilgrims or simple inquisitors and, not infrequently, they cause massive movements.

A country, region or county has its own characteristics and gastronomy is undoubtedly a characterizing factor. The Marco de Canaveses does not go beyond the rule and thus has the Roasted Egg with Oven Rice.
Although the year is a dish used in several regions ours has a different flavor from the others. The dill should be well greased with a sauce of its own and should stay for a few hours. The rice is roasted in a clay drip and to get more flavor, a grill is placed on top, where it will be placed the year, goes to the oven. To complete this tasty delicacy in the same batch the potatoes are roasted.
