At first I had never really thought about applying to UCSB just because i never really saw myself there. However, after seeing the campus I fell in love with it. I really liked how the campus is right by the beach, the weather was nice & the structures really stood out to me. Overall I was influenced to apply to the school.

As the tour guide kept giving us information she always kept saying different resources like EOPs and how much they helped her with her college experience.

Living at UCSB seems very relaxing because there’s a beautiful view of the beach and the weather there is always nice.

UCSB has a really pretty campus since it’s right next the beach. They offers a lot of academic opportunities such as free therapy, tutoring and a studying abroad program.

I do not need any help in my career research project. As in progress I am done with it and have been since I first started it.

My next steps after high school is going to potentially UTI (Universal Technical Institute) and learning either diesel mechanics and plumbing. I am currently trying to work.

There are lots of resources for Latinos, asians and etc. One of the resources that really stood out was the mental health one, ucsb really cares about people’s mental health and their futures.

I like how there’s a lot of useful resources for students to access in order to help them in their classes. How the school encourages people to work with each other and support each other.

I felt comfortable and happy at UCSB because it is a different environment than what we are used to and feel that being at this college could help us grow as people.

I felt the campus was very nice. The tour guides provided a lot of information and were very welcoming. The clubs did seem interesting too, and I think I would have more freedom if I went there.

I really liked how there was a-lot of resources. I also liked that they were specific to a cultural group but open to everyone. I also really like that they help you prepare for an interview and let you borrow clothes.

I think the campus in new and would be nice to live over there. You can make new friends and connections. And also it would be cool to live there to attend the party’s and have fun.

I liked that there where many different types of mechanical majors, giving you more options instead of a few.

I felt that the campus was beautiful. I loved the overall environment and being by the beach was amazing. I definitely see myself attending this campus because of its beauty, location, and the vibes were truly amazing. I loved seeing the dorms and the library omg it was so beautiful. I going up to the 8th floor was great and the views all throughout were amazing. I love this campus because it’s a little far from home but still close enough to go home which is the best part for me.

I’ve dormed at USCB for a week before and the experience was amazing. Although I wouldn’t say the college is the one for me.

Living at UCSB seems like it would be a very fun experience as there is a good amount to be done around such as go to the town & the beach. Although the campus is 2 hours away, it seems worth the drive away from your family.

The extracurriculars at UCSB were so diverse. Throughout the tour there were tons of clubs in the open that were for completely different things like save the bees. The college made it seem like a very welcoming community for anyone to join different clubs that interest them.

It was a nice school that made me feel comfortable because of how small it was, but it was enough to convince me to apply there.

I am close to submitting my csu applications, this weekend I am going to revise my eops and go over the rest of my application making sure all the information is correct. Also make sure and really think about if I am happy with the csu’s I am applying too and the majors I decided. I am still looking through different career pathways with what I want to study, because with whatever major I decided I want to make sure it has to do with sports and helping athletes. I am in between psychology, kinesiology, sports/business management, and public relations & communications.

I really like the camp, it was pretty organized. The thing I like the most was how they had a whole section filled with bicycle for students to transfer to different sections of the campus. I also like the way they had a study section for students to go their homework at a quite space.

I was informed by our tour guide that this school is a very well resourced school with the subject of humanities. I also felt very supportive of my peers who want to go into a humanities major.

The campus was really beautiful, I love how it is close to the ocean since it’s used for those that are interested in marine biology. There are different housing sections for the students, and students are able to choose how many people they’d like to live with. The top floor of the library was also really beautiful, and you can see the ocean and mountains.

I enjoyed how our guide mentioned all the forms of help a first year student can receive. Whether you had prior family member attend college or not, there are plenty of people at campus who can help you succeed

I felt good at ucsb, the campus seemed very lively and open to new people. The campus felt very inviting and it was small, making it seem less intimidating and overwhelming.

Being at UCSB made me feel very comfortable as I usually like being around environments like that. Also, I really like the beach so being on the campus & the drive, beinf able to see the beach, was very nice. Overall, I can really see myself at the school.

I heard that there are almost always awning and from them our tour guide said that she got a card and with that now she can rent whenever she wants all things that are for surf for example, the surfboard and this was interesting to me since is a good resource from the place that I can get advantage of. The UCSB campus was extremely amazing. Campus had a beach right next to it which is rare to other colleges and overall was nice. It was great to get out of SV and see what else there is to life.

I loved that there are so many different majors and possibilities at Santa Barbara. My tour guide told us about the different makes that were out there that are offered and it made me excited to learn more. I loved hearing about the different Political Science opportunities as well as the different academic resources available like the gorgeous library, different study areas, and just how great the campus is for studying all different subjects.

The campus was very nice it's definitely bigger than our school and there's alot more to do I loved how it was near the beach and also the lagoon they had there was a nice view but something that really got me to love the school was how many people were riding their bikes it was nice to see that and all the people that were there seemed to get along and it was just a good place.

I was informed about the different options of sports that the university offers. I wish our tour guide would go more into depth about the extracurriculars.

I enjoyed hearing about the different sports that are offered at UCSB. Students have the option in playing at a D1 level team since the school is D1, or sports that are less competitive. When I say less competitive I mean sports that students play for fun on a Monday afternoon. There is also a gym for students with a rock climbing activity offered to students. There are also other things like dance if students would like to learn how to dance, all of this was very informative and interesting.

Our tour guide was great in explaining the different opportunities that are available to students and especially people who are first generation or first to go to college in their family. She explained the different programs like EOP as well as other opportunities for students all throughout so I definitely found that part of the tour helpful and something to consider when applying to UCSB.

I really liked it, it was a very good school and the tour guide me and my group got was very social which made everything look even nicer. The only problem is that is 2 hours away from svms or even more if there’s traffic. It also has lots of different types of clubs and sports which are divided into divisions.

When the tour guide was saying all the resources available at the campus I was really shocked because I feel like not many campuses offer many of the resources they had. They said that they have many golf carts driving around, in case any student gets injured while going to class. I thought this was really considerate and I have never seen any other campus that offers anything like that.

The resources there are great especially with the multiple levels in the library, along with the expansion. They also have clubs that are made to help freshmen adapt to the school, and figure out what their years are going to be like. The guide also said that the teachers always host office hours to help students that don’t understand the topics.

I would love to live at UCSB. The beach is definitely what draws in me. I love being near the water and just the vibes of the beach. I would love to live in the dorms and get to connect with more people and just overall be away from family so I can start living by myself and getting to experience the college life but on campus.

I felt very inspired, motivated, and amazed. UCSB is a very beautiful school, there are alot of resources for students so they feel supported and motivated. That is something tha caught my eye as well as the fact that the beach is very close to the campus. Seeing UCSB in person really made me realize how much I must push myself to reach for my goals.

I am already done with my CSU application and submitted as well as admitted into one. I’m working on my common app application for privates and I’m also working on UC schools. I’m applying to UCs and private schools and just need more time with supplements and writing.

Living at ucsb would be nice meeting new people making new friends because of the shared rooms and its seems like a big space and when you are in your 3rd or 4th year it gets better with the housing.

UCSB is a very beautiful campus but it has very limited majors from the majors that were talked about during the tour. It is in a very beautiful area near the beach and it looks like you can walk from building to building since the campus seems small. I love the fact that the classes aren’t far from each other so you can get around easily. I also loved the fact that they had bike racks and little roads for the bikes to get around through.
