The USSR lost 15,000,000 (fifteen million) regular citizens -women and children, basically everyone who was not a soldier- in the war, while the Germans only lost 2,000,000 (two million), and the Germans had bombs flattening the land every day! I think that's because the Germans have a base somewhere secret, and the troops send the citizens there, but the people who didn't listen got killed.

Ads during World War 2 didn't help much either- if the Japanese saw what the Americans were putting up, they would try to wreck even more things! This one, from America's point of view, shows a Jap (Japanese person) with sharp teeth (notice the long, curved, bony fingers and arched eyebrows) strangling a TERRIFIED looking American lady. Exaggerating, but thats what people do do get one sided opinions.

Another favourite ad of mine- again exaggerating, but effective- the boot with the Enemy's symbol looks like a mix between soccer shoes and horse riding shoes. Both are used to urge of grip. The spikes on the sole of the shoe are there to grip, like Japanese searching for a place that would give them power, then getting such a firm grasp or longing that neither side would dare retreat. The spurs on the heel, usually meant for forcing or urging horses to move, is like symbolism for the Japanese being rough and forcing the Americans to obey them by torturing or forcing them.

When the Germans took over Czechoslovakia, they had Poland cornered on three sides, so the Germans just decided to take over. At WarsawPoland, they made anyone who looked suspicious, which was pretty much everyone, including female infants, form a crowd near a building. There, they made decisions to either take them away to starve to death or kill them on the spot.
