Been there, done that! I thought of some suggestions you can do to solve this and here they are. First, even if they speak to you in their native language, why don't you keep answering them in English? This will make them switch languages, if that doesn't happen it will be your individual practice. Additionally, how about asking them to use English with you for example "hey, can you practice english with me? just let a conversation flow in english...". Finally, if this is not resolved, you can talk to your teacher to warn students to use english in our conversations.
