That is mostly because of my birthday. I would usually say that winter is my favourite season because we would get huge amounts of snow. But i was dissenchanted when there was almost no snow. There was snow indeed, but it was far from abundant for my part. In my free time i usually play games or watch TV-shows. Besides school I play football, squash and do running. My father ran a lot in his younger days, so he wanted me to run. As I said earlier, I also play football. I usually play as a right back but sometimes I play as a right wing back. I also specified that i play squash. Squash is an indoor sport with a racket and a rubber ball. It is played on an indoor court with four walls which are used a lot while playing. You play the game by hitting the ball with the racket on the front wall and then the ball bounces back. It is usually played as a two person sport, but it can also be played with four people. When you play with four people it is called doubles because you're on a team with another person. Doubles courts are usually larger than normal indoor courts. Squash is a really tough game which tests you both mentally and physically. When you play squash you play best of three or five games. If you play best of three games you have to win two of them to get an immediate win. If you play best of five games then you have to win three games to get a win. In a game, if the server loses the ball exchange, the server passes it to the opponent. That means that the opponent will be the next to serve the ball. A game is won by the first person to get to 11 points, but the game eventually continues from 10-10. If you get to that point you will have to win the game with a two point lead , for example 12-10, 15-13 or 25-23. In doubles, points are awarded in each stroke change. A game here goes to 15 points, possibly extended to 17 at the position 14-14. A stroke means that you get a point because your opponent is in your way, which makes you unable to hit the ball without hitting them. This is given to avoid any injuries. The elite squash league is called The PSA World Tour. It is a world tour where the top 500 competitors in the world tour around in the world and play squash tournaments. Right now the Egyptians are ruling the squash world because eight of the ten best players right now are from Egypt. My favourite squash player of all time is Nick Matthew. He used to be a professional squash player but has now retired. I have read his book which is very motivating and showed how much work he put in to become one of the best squash players ever. He was my idol as a little boy but I understood him more when I read his book. I play squash myself and i think it is really fun. I got a bronze medal in the norwegian nationals last year, which i am proud of. My dream is to become the best squash player in the world.
