There’s something magical about its atmosphere that made me feel deeply grateful for every chance I get to see the world. This year, one of my biggest blessings was reuniting with my childhood best friend. When the full-scale war began, our lives went in different directions, and we hadn’t seen each other for several years. And even before the war, like it often happens with dear old friends, work always made meeting up a rare treasure.

Throughout this entire time, we simply couldn’t synchronize our calendars =)

And even when we finally planned our reunion, which required me to spend two full days on the road (!) , life had its own plot twist. At the very last moment, an urgent matter came up, so she had to postpone her arrival by one day and then step away for a while during our plans… ah, friendship =)

But despite everything, it turned into a wonderful couple of days together. We laughed, talked like no time had passed, and felt that warm closeness we missed so much.

Thank you, destiny and all the unexpected circumstances, for giving us this priceless chance to reconnect. My heart feels fuller because of it.

Sometimes the best moments don’t need to be perfect - they just need to be real. And this one truly was.

Last month I got the chance to travel to Orlando with my husband, my mom, and my sister. As we grow older, it becomes rarer and rarer to spend quality time with our families, especially on a family vacation. This year was truly special for me. I had the chance to travel to different cities and even different countries just to reconnect with the people I love most ✨

After the last few years, when being together wasn’t always easy, I treasure every opportunity to see my family and friends. And the more time passes, the more I appreciate the little things: remembering the taste of the coffee we shared, the conversations that lasted longer than planned, and the feeling of being fully present with someone dear.

It’s funny how random corners of a city suddenly become “our place” just because of one happy moment. Streets, cafes, parks – they all start collecting our stories like tiny memory boxes. And I’m grateful for each and every one of them.

If this year taught me anything, it’s this: time with loved ones is never “just time”. It’s the warmest part of life 🤍

This year, I improved my skills as a musician and as a percussionist in general. This year was so rich in concerts, so many new places, so many new acquaintances. But most importantly, I gained experience, both my own and that of my senior colleagues. Since drummers are not often caught on camera, because we are always in the background and serve as the backbone of the band, I am happy to even have this photo.

This photo will always remind me of my beginnings, my journey, and the adventures that await me and my band ADHD - atention_deficit_hd (on Instagram).
