The police are wanting to talk to Jenifer, shes freaked out. The first time she tells the detectives that she doesn't know anything. but then the next say she comes back with a lawyer and her mom and says that Adnan killed Hae.
They do not know where Haes car is. Jay says that he knows where the car is.. he takes the detectives to the car. Adnan is confused, says that Jay isn't telling the truth.
Adnan and Jays girlfriend Stephanie were very close!!!!!! and Stephanie family did not approve of Jay but they had no problem with Adnan!!!!!! This is very important. Sarah and another person go on the route from school to the best buy parking lot, 11 minutes in and they're still at school. took them 18 minutes to get to best buy.... what happens in those next 3 minutes.
a friend of Adnans said the best buy parking lot was Haes and Adnans spot to hang out.

Adnan cant believe that the 21 minutes actually worked. yes it worked but everything had to be perfect, no mess ups for everything to be completed in 21 minutes.

when Adnan first got the call about Hae missing from the police was "oh Hae is gonna be in so much trouble when she gets home" hmmm that doesn't sound like he killed her to me.
Adnan never tried to contact her after she went missing (so the cell towers so) but all her friends were trying to contact her. Adnan says he was just as involved as anyone else when talking/looking for Hae. Hae wrote Adnan a very angry letter.. talking about how people break up all the time. Hae said Adnan didnt respect Adnan.
Aisha says she never saw "i kill" so she was surprised to see that later when she got the letter in court.
Laura said she say the body (Hae) in Adnans car with Adnan. the neighbor boy never remembers that happening. The neighbor boy said him and Jay weren't friends.
Adnan says "i wonder what made people think why it could have been me" he thinks there was no proof. Our summary: Jay had said that he was forced to do it or he thought that Adnan was going to hurt Stephanie (Jays gf) and thats the only reason he helped Adnan. 
Adnans friends have good things to say about Adnan and then Jays friends have good things to say about him so its very in between.

No payphone no anything. this is so important because Jay wilds testifies that Adnan had called him from the best buy payphone telling him to come pick him up, telling him he (Adnan) had killed Hae. He draws a map with the phone booth, no one could ever account for the phone booth. Summer (a friend of Haes also apart of wrestling manager with Hae) says theirs no way Hae was at best buy at 2:36, because Summer was talking to Hae after school about the wrestling match. It wasn't a quick conversation, lasted at least 10 minutes. Summer never talked to detectives. which i think is stupid. Adnan didn't do it!!!!!! that 2:36 phone call did not happen. "Kathy" testified about the call Adnan got, Aisha was calling around to see if anyone had heard from Hae. Aisha told the police to check in with him.
Adnan had to remain silent for two trials and it killed him. he would hear something and then wanna say "no that inst what happened" but he couldn't say anything.
no one saw anything strange in Adnans behavior. they were so young, how are you supposed to react?
people tend to bend there memories for what police want to hear.
Adnan really thought the cops weren't going to come to him because he didn't do anything. Adnan is doing really well in jail. He was very likable and made friends easily and always had people looking at for him. Sarah tried hard to contact the family but they want no part in it.

Cristina Gutierrez, a renowned defense attorney in Marylander- tough and savvy and smart. other lawyers said she was exactly the kind of person you'd want to be defending you on a first degree murder charge. But Adnan was convicted, and a year later, Gutierrez was disbarred. What happened? 
Adnans family, hands down thinks Adnan didn't do it. There were a lot of people coming to Adnans trial. The courtroom was full. Adnan is not Pakistani. Hes American with Pakistani heritage. The prosecutor Kevin Urick is a piece of s***.
Did Christina Gutierrez blotch the case? i think yes. She never talked to Asia McClain, who should have been a key witness. Christian died in January of 2004, so Sarah never got the chance to ask her. I think Gutierrez really believed that Adnan didn't do it but she did a terrible job putting the facts across to the jury. Mr.S is still very suspicious. Christian wasn't clear about presenting the facts, like the states. Everything was jumbled with Christina. Christina grills Jay about not telling the cops that Adnan supposedly called him saying he was going to kill Hae. The jury believed Jay all the way. i don't think she purposely tried to threw threw the case. I think she was having problems, this was the time that she was getting sick. Adnans mother said overtime Christina had changed.
