<title>If I can recall correctly, when you joined the first zoom, we had on April 26th, you said, “Yeah to be completely honest, I entirely forgot about LFR.” You might not have missed that meeting, but somewhere along the line, not only did the zoom call slip your mind, but you forgot the organization as a whole. Then we had the 2nd zoom call on May 3rd, where we specifically went over, multiple times, what needed to be done specifically in each role and for the chapter as a whole, and then you also forgot that. Two days later, on May 5th, Angil-Marie asked “Have we heard from any homes/lucky goat.” You responded with “oh uhhh totally forgot to send out an email, I’ll go do that right now.” It took till someone else, who has a completely different job, to mention it, for you to realize you needed to be doing something. After we had already spent 20 minutes discussing it, a few days before. (Along with the specific things that we mentioned in the text before.) I understand that it had only been 2 days, and maybe you where busy, but from your text “I’m not sure where you got the idea that I was swamped by tons of stuff to do.”, that seems to not be the case. So again, I say, if you aren’t busy, we don’t see why it was forgotten about. You where the one that said “forgot”, that’s where we got the idea that maybe you have a lot going on. We didn’t have any real proof that you where, but we know that we all have our own things going on, so we were trying to be considerate to you and aware of the fact that we might be missing something. We came to that conclusion based of the clues we were given. We seriously began to think, that maybe there was more going on. Again, we had no real proof, but that was the only thing we could think of. You are correct, you have updated us after you emailed the homes, but only because you had previously forgotten and someone had reminded you, or we had to ask for updates. I understand that from your perspective you might be confused as to why that’s frustrating to us. Because you see it as, us asking, and you responded. Which is why we have taken this time to figure out what our standards are for our chapter. Katie is working on setting up a document that will be sent out to everyone shortly, that will go into further detail about our expectations and what our specific role requirements are. That is partially the reason why it took us so long to respond. We have been using this time to reflect on ourselves and see what we need to do as leaders to better the performance of ourselves and others, and make sure things like this don’t happen in the future. It also took us a while to get back to you because, as we stated before, many important and unexpected things came up. I got very unexpected and potentially very devastating, health related news, about a loved one who I care very deeply for. I would appreciate it if you realize we have rather important things going on in our lives too. And again, we didn’t forget, we actually were busy. We just want to make it very clear that we are not being hypocritical, since your whole point is that you, in fact aren’t busy, and we actually were. Now we could have simply stated the reasons it was taking so long, but we didn’t want it to seem like we were making excuses, after coming to talk to you about needing to communicate, that would be unfair, and we recognize that. I think some of this is more so a partner communication issue. Like CCing, that’s between you and Isa, we didn’t tell you to do so, I believe y’all where the ones who mentioned that, so again some of this is more so between you and your partner. Which again will be addressed in the form being sent out. We of course need to know what it is you guys plan on doing, but first the two of you will decide on that. We are here to help you out with any issues, ideas, or questions you have when doing that. But I’m not sure what you and Isa have already decided on or want to do. Which again will be addressed in the form being sent out. I’ve looked at the outreach notes, and it seems like your name is on all the ones that have a name. Again, I don’t know how you guys are covering the work load, and if we’ve got this wrong, and you’re doing it all because Isabella isn’t, please let us know that. I’m just thinking that she wasn’t responding, cause if you did the research, you’d be the one to know the answer. I’m not sure what you mean by “not being comminated with.” Do you mean Isa, Katie and I, or the chapter as a whole? Katie and I are here to help, guide you, assist you on any questions you may have, go over the plan with you, and remind/ update you on what’s going on. Your job, is the one that’s supposed to communicate to the others. Your job is the one that stops or starts all the others. They all work based off what you do. You do have a lot of work to do, and it might seem like it’s a lot more than others, which is why we are stressing to get it done. Because once we start, everything will even out. Transportation won’t know which location to contact, unless they know which home we are doing. Ambassadors can’t finish the form until they have the drop of locations. And social media can’t post about our chapter, until we have the ground work done, and the form finished. It all falls back on outreach. We aren’t communicating as much with you, because actually we need you to be communicating with us. Which will also be addressed in the form Katie will send out to everyone. What you just texted us about schedule, did not match what the spreadsheet said. Remember to check the schedule and change it depending on what comes up. That explains things a bit better, that the job and volunteer where the same thing. We appreciate you clarifying that you do in fact enjoy LFR. And we are happy to hear that you love LFR and it is helping you. We thought about 2 homes as well, I know we keep saying it, but again, the form is going to cover a lot of this. We are hoping that it will be the foundation for this chapter and make things clear and define. Another important thing was that we had the original interview on March 24th, where we asked you which role you wanted, from the very first day you where aware that you would be having to reach out to nursing homes. We were confused on how you seemed so excited to do that, up until we said go do it. From day one we had talked about LFR all the time, on FT and in the group chat, which is also why we were confused on how you forgot, if we where constantly talking. Lastly, with the information we had, things seemed very contradicting. We were confused on how, if you were so excited, you then forgot about it. And if you weren’t busy, why things weren’t getting done. It seemed to us that it was just a lack of care. That maybe you didn’t want to be a part of LFR, and that’s why we suggested you resigning. As we stated in the first message, we felt like maybe you only joined because we had personally called you, and you didn’t have a chance to think it through. Especially because the very first thing you said was “Am I getting paid.” and later mentioned how this will look good on college applications, and not something like “Omg this sounds so fun!” And that really added on to how we were feeling, and convinced us that maybe we should give you an out, incase, that was the case. To put it all together, this was going to originally going to be a warning/ hey what’s going on. But as we started to think about coming to talk to you, the more we felt like maybe you just didn’t want to be a part of LFR anymore, and that’s why we mentioned resigning. We didn’t mean it so much as a “hey get out now”, but more of a “hey we don’t know what’s going on, know that if you want out that’s ok.” I think majority of this has been communication issues, as long as things improve, we are happy that you are on the Team. We hope to send out that form soon, and that will go more into detail about what needs to improve, and set a clear understanding of things that might have been mentioned here. </title>
