Move-In day was very exciting for me, but also stressful. It took like 8 hours, but it turned out really good. It was hard when my parents left, but I'm only two hours from home, so I knew I would see them soon.

Bid Day

I went through the rush process, and it was the most stressful 10 days of my life. However, it was all worth it in the end, and I rushed Phi Mu and enjoyed bid day a lot.

First Day of Class

I had three classes on my first day, and EDHE was the only one that I struggled to find for some reason. Overall, it was a great day, and I was excited to start off the semester.

Convocation (Event Reflection 1)

I attended Convocation during the first week, and it was cool to see the whole freshman class in one place at the same time. Overall, it was a good experience, but some of the speeches were super long.

Sorority Event

I attended my roommate's Bad and Blue Jean date party during the first month of school. It was really fun, and it was the first event I attended outside of my sorority functions.

Siblings Visiting

I was getting pretty homesick during the first month, but it helped a lot that my family only lives two hours away, and they were able to visit within the first month.

Middle Tennessee Game

Middle Tennessee was the first game that I actually went into instead of just hanging out in my parent's tent in the grove. It was my first Ole Miss game, and it was a great experience.

STANDKIND

I attended STANDKIND in August for Phi Mu, and it was focused on hazing. I learned so much, and it was a great event to attend.

Sorority Event

I had my first date party for Phi Mu towards the end of September, and it was a lot of fun. I enjoyed meeting new people and hanging out with my friends. The theme was my pick garden party, and it was at Harrison's Yard.

Big/Little Reveal

We had big/little reveal in October, and it was a great experience. I got to connect with my big and grand-big, and we are very close friends now.

Build the M (Event Reflection 2)

I went to Build the M in late September with two of my friends. It was a great experience because we were able to go onto the football field and stand in the shape of an M. They also gave us ice cream and popsicles after.

Visiting Home

I visited home in October to watch my siblings while my parents went to the LSU game. It was during the week of the Mississippi state fair, so I took all of them to the fair, and we had so much fun.

Mid-Terms

I only had one real midterm, and it was in my history class. He let us choose what would be on the test, so it was really easy. these are my notes for that test because it was also open note.

Formal

Formal was on November 14 which was also my birthday and my best friend's birthday, so we had a joint birthday celebration before formal. All of our friends were there, and I enjoyed celebrating with them. Formal was at the Jefferson, and it was a beautiful venue.

Birthday Celebration #2

We went to Booth's barbecue to celebrate our birthdays the day after with just our girl friend group. It was a great time with friends and the restaurant was really cute on the outside.

Schedule

I made my schedule, and I was able to get all of the classes that I want. I was happy to be able to make my schedule with no Tuesday/Thursday classes, so I will have more free time.

Car Accident

The first day I went home for Thanksgiving break, I was with my mom and she hit a deer near our house. My dad had to come and rip part of her car off because it was dragging on the ground. This was also the day before we had to make a 10 hour drive to Florida to stay with family for Thanksgiving.

Giraffe Ranch

Over break, we went to a giraffe ranch in Dade City, Florida, and we got to feed lemurs as a part of the safari tour. One of the lemurs grabbed onto my leg and didn't let go for the rest of the experience. I think lemurs are my favorite animal now!
