I chose my negatives based on how I was feeling until I discovered a theme which was somewhere between media consumption and the exploitation from companies? I mostly focused on filling the blank space and creating leading lines between each element.

I honestly didn't have a better understanding of the process because I mostly knew about it already, although the practice was fun since I got to try how opposite negatives make inverted versions. Perhaps I could learn how to make more collages with this since I like designing them.

I chose this because I thought it'd be pretty funny if i tried to catch a natural look on something that isn't conventionally associated with this lighting, like a plushie. I want it to look like one of those videos where a show is recreated in another media, so maybe, this plushie is enjoying the warm sun or is alone at night. I'll just need an adjustable modifier for the light and a suitable surface, I'm not sure so I'll probably experiment then. Depending on the final item I choose, I'll create a corresponding mood.

For this, I had two light sources: the main light from underneath, and a fill light from a 45 degree angle to light the plushie's face up, and also create a shadow on the wall.

Today, we focused more on the technicalities and the method of the 3 way lighting, along with cool lighting. I think it's pretty cool (no pun intended), although I do prefer warm lighting. Cool lighting is crisper than warm lighting, and it creates a professional look. From this, I learned that shutter speed matters a lot, and that sometimes lowering them significantly greatly helps the picture (however, why, I'm still not sure).

The most powerful thing is probably being able to add gradients and even brushes for added effects, since here especially, I can add some lighting on the leaves at the front which previously couldn't be seen with the details of each leaf (they were mostly black). With this, I can attract or detract attention to certain areas in the photo as needed.

For this, I had a few problems, such as the AI being unable to select what I wanted initially. I might have to overcome them by doing exactly what I did, which was tinkering around with the options so I can find how the AI detects things, or use the select objects tool, although it doesn't work 100% of the time.

I'll be honest, it sucks here. Maybe it's because the photo is not that crisp and the colors do slightly blend together. This could also be dependent on whether the object stands out from the background (especially seen in the video with the white blanket) and already doesn't have existing patterns on it, which is why it didn't work for mine.

Perhaps I could try capturing a blank object to familiarize myself with Photoshop even more before I experiment with things such as how much shadows affect the final result.

This is probably one of the collages I prefer, even if I can't quite see the "green" aspects. Nevertheless, the bottle's silhouette is clear, and I like it. For the overlay, it is a bit quicker, although it requires a completely blank space for it to work. For collage, it needs a simple picture without much detail, while also requiring additional collage pictures rather than the singular design for the overlay.
