         <description><![CDATA[<p>Choose three (3) Formalist Lens Questions to respond to. Your responses should thoroughly respond to the prompt in at least three sentences </p><p>Q1. An event that happens in the reading that shows a bit of the authors personality is when she saw her mom searching for stuff in the dumpster while she was on her way somewhere and she turned around to check on her mom. This shows that the author is caring. The author is caring because she stopped what she was going to do to check on her mom.</p><p>Q6.  A significant event that happens in the story is when the author get's burnt and goes to the hospital and her dad takes her away. I think the authors purpose of telling part of the story was to give us a closer look into the parents mentality and how it could be a possible reason why they end up the way they do.          <description><![CDATA[<p>Economic conditions determine the characters lives by not having enough to eat. The characters are struggling so much that they had to eat butter because that's all they had in the fridge. It didn't take long for the parents of the children to realize the situation they were in.</p><p><br/></p><p>Class differences are shown in the work by showing how all of Rosemary's children go to a private school, when they can go to Public school that's closer to them  </p>]]></description>
