Five codes govern business ethics: objectivity, integrity,with the necessary attention and professionalism,Both professionalism and confidentiality are crucial. The practice of ethics is living a moral life, learning how to act justly and morally no matter the consequences, and having the courage to do so. By putting principles into practice, every period of life—from birth to old age—can be enhanced.

In order to begin summarizing what I learned in this lesson, let me first define a code of ethics as a set of guidelines for appropriate and inappropriate conduct. It is a set of values intended to help professionals conduct themselves in an honorable and ethical manner. It is also a direct reflection of the values and principles that govern the individual and the institution he or she represents. A code of ethics document may include an overview of the mission and vision of the business or organization, as well as the values and ethical principles that the professional is expected to uphold.

The code of ethics includes the following: the vision statement, which helps to ensure that decisions are in line with company goals; values, which ensure that all employees work toward those goals; mission, which is a specific task that a person or group is charged with; and, lastly, principles, which are ethical rules or beliefs that guide your behavior and help you determine what is right and wrong.

                    Code of Ethics is important in business since it must be written and customized to a particular industry, and it must be followed by all of the company’s personnel. Code of ethics is important because it outlines expectations for conduct and establishes the foundation for a preventative caution to the business. Even code of ethics is not always necessary, many businesses and organizations choose to adopt a code of ethics since it helps stakeholders recognize and understand a company.
                    

-Practice generosity Another code of ethic that is important to me is to exhibit generosity. This code of ethic is not only based on my religious belief but it is morally right. The bible states that God loves a cheerful giver; it also states that one should give and God will see others give to you. I believe that generosity is the habit of giving without coercion. I think people see me as a generous person. To me generosity goes beyond a wealthy person giving charitable donations such as money or expensive gifts to the less fortunate. Being generous to me is merely paying a bus ticket for my daughter since she cannot afford it. Other examples of generosity is sharing dinner with a homeless person, giving a gift to siblings whose parents cannot afford a Christmas present. I will continue to be generous because the thought of sharing and giving unselfishly without wanting in return shows that I do care about others and is a personal ethics that I attribute.

Practice generosity Being generous is another aspect of my code of ethics that I value. 
My code of ethics is morally sound in addition to being founded on my religious beliefs. 
The bible declares that God appreciates joyful givers and that if you give, God will cause others to reciprocate. 
According to me, generosity is the practice of giving without being forced. 
I believe that people view me as being kind-hearted. 
I believe that being generous extends beyond a wealthy individual offering expensive presents or cash to those in need. 
To me, generosity simply means purchasing my daughter's bus fare because she is unable to do it. 
Giving a homeless person meals is another illustration of generosity.

Both businesses and trade organizations typically have some sort of code of ethics that their employees or members are supposed to follow. Breaking the code of ethics can result in termination or dismissal from the organization. A code of ethics is important because it clearly lays out the rules for behavior and provides the groundwork for a preemptive warning.

Given the importance of climate change and how human behavior has led to severely impacting the climate, many companies have taken to include climate factors in their code of ethics. These principles include manners in which the company is dedicated to operating sustainably or how they will shift to doing so.

In many cases, this commitment to sustainability adds to the costs of a company, but because consumers are becoming more focused on the types of businesses they choose to engage with, it is often worth the cost to maintain a good public image.

Regardless of size, businesses count on their management staff to set a standard of ethical conduct for other employees to follow. When administrators adhere to the code of ethics, it sends a message that universal compliance is expected of every employee.
