I learned that Code of Ethics is a set of guidelines that outlines the principles and values that professionals should follow to conduct business honestly and with integrity. Saucer and Sims offer recommendations for developing a Code of Ethics, including adopting a code, offering ethics training, dealing with immoral activities, taking constructive measures, carrying out a social audit, covering whistleblowers, empowering defenders of integrity, ensuring executive commitment, communicating principles of conduct, assigning an officer responsible for enforcing ethical standards, establishing a procedure for violations, ensuring high perseverance by the board of trustees, and leading by example. The Code of Ethics includes a vision, values, mission, and principles that help to ensure alignment and guide decision-making. The four-way test asks whether a decision is truthful, fair, builds goodwill, and benefits all parties with vested interest in the outcome.

A code of ethics in business is a collection of guiding principles meant to guarantee that a company and its personnel behave honestly and honorably in all areas of day-to-day operations and to only take actions that advance societal good. A business that creates a code of ethics outlining all the ways it should conduct itself honestly and ethically in its daily operations, from how its employees conduct themselves and deal with clients to the kinds of people it transacts business with, such as suppliers and advertising agencies, is an example of a business that has a code of ethics in place. The purpose of a code of ethics is to provide professionals with a set of guiding principles that will help them act in a way that is morally upright and advantageous to all parties involved. An organization creates a code of ethics that is suited to the relevant industry and mandates adherence by all of the organization's employees. From the industrial to the modern eras, firms have made morally more sophisticated decisions. Working conditions, an organization's impact on the environment, and how it addresses inequality are all issues that society today values highly compared to perhaps two centuries before. A code of ethics aids in ensuring that companies always operate honorably.

I learned that principles, standards, beliefs, and practices that are designed to help workers uphold the company's decent image are referred to as a "code of ethics." It is a set of guidelines that focus on an individual's behavior, whether it is right or wrong. Mission, vision, principles, and values are commonly found in code of ethics. When we speak of "vision," we are referring to mental representation. It is crucial because it ensures that business decisions are made in accordance with corporate objectives. Yet, when it comes to making decisions for the company, the mission assists in efficiently guiding the organization and the business. Values, on the other side, are personal views that drive people to behave in particular ways, most often influencing how they should behave in order to achieve a particular objective. While, principles are established standards and customs that establish what is good and wrong, but this time, they have an impact on the actions that a person takes. When we come across situations, especially ethical ones, we need to think about whether or not they are true, fair, beneficial to others, and congruent with good intent. Since it helps businesses retain a positive reputation, code of ethics are important for corporate growth and success. It demonstrates to the company and employees how they are professional in managing the business properly since it increases the organization's credibility and trust in them. Also, it lowers potential conflicts inside the organization because the code of ethics directs employees on how to handle and prevent them. According to Saucer and Sims (2013), some of their suggestions for supporting and developing their code of ethics include providing training, taking proactive steps, setting a good example, expressing the values, and having a process for handling ethical transgressions.

Acting as a guideline to influence behaviour and making the right choice, it is easier for individuals to abide by rules and act responsibly with ethics. Ethics in education helps run the system smoothly. The purpose of ethical codes is to give its employees, management, and any interested party a reference point that adheres to company policy, standards, and ethical beliefs. The code is made visible to the public to ensure professional integrity, quality, and to prevent misguided conduct. The purpose of a code of ethics is to promote responsible and ethical behavior, encourage transparency and accountability, and protect the reputation and integrity of the organization. A typical code of ethics in business includes principles such as honesty, integrity, fairness, respect, accountability, and social responsibility. By following a code of ethics, businesses can build trust with stakeholders, enhance their reputation, and contribute to the greater good of society.

Also a code of ethics, also referred to as an "ethical code," may encompass areas such as business ethics, a code of professional practice, and an employee code of conduct.
And I also learned the Code of Ethics contains Vision, Values, Mission and Principles.
The Vision helps to ensure the alignment of the decisions to the company goals, while the Values in business help to ensure that all the employees work towards the company goals, however the Mission clearly and effectively guides the business or the organization in its decision-making,and the Principles help you to know what is right and wrong and that influence your actions.

-Practice generosity Another code of ethic that is important to me is to exhibit generosity. This code of ethic is not only based on my religious belief but it is morally right. The bible states that God loves a cheerful giver; it also states that one should give and God will see others give to you. I believe that generosity is the habit of giving without coercion. I think people see me as a generous person. To me generosity goes beyond a wealthy person giving charitable donations such as money or expensive gifts to the less fortunate. Being generous to me is merely paying a bus ticket for my daughter since she cannot afford it. Other examples of generosity is sharing dinner with a homeless person, giving a gift to siblings whose parents cannot afford a Christmas present. I will continue to be generous because the thought of sharing and giving unselfishly without wanting in return shows that I do care about others and is a personal ethics that I attribute.

Practice generosity Being generous is another aspect of my code of ethics that I value.
My code of ethics is morally sound in addition to being founded on my religious beliefs.
The bible declares that God appreciates joyful givers and that if you give, God will cause others to reciprocate.
According to me, generosity is the practice of giving without being forced.
I believe that people view me as being kind-hearted.
I believe that being generous extends beyond a wealthy individual offering expensive presents or cash to those in need.
To me, generosity simply means purchasing my daughter's bus fare because she is unable to do it.
Giving a homeless person meals is another illustration of generosity.

I learned that the code of ethics outlines the moral principles and best practices that an organization should adhere to in order to be honest, ethical, and professional. When members of an organization violate the code of ethics, there may be consequences, such as termination. Additionally, it helps in demonstrating to others that you are a moral individual who holds dearly held values. These are qualities that will benefit you in relationships and at work as well as in other areas of your life. The goal of ethical codes is to provide a reference point that complies with business policy, standards, and ethical beliefs to employees, management, and any interested parties. The public is made aware of the code in order to guarantee professionalism, quality, and to stop improper behavior.

Ethics is concerned with what is good for.. i learned about knowledge that deals with moral principles. We study "ethics" because society cannot function without a series of commonly-accepted moral codes that define boundaries of acceptable behavior.

ABM 12‐JOBS
What to you learn or realization upon studying it?
— I've learned that ethics refers to a set of moral rules that govern our conduct. Our families, communities, and faiths teach us about ethics. Even though there are many distinct ethical systems, they all have some things in common. Making decisions that align with our values and beliefs is the essence of ethics. It involves acting in a manner that is compatible with our core values.
I've discovered that obeying a set of rules is not what ethics is all about. It involves making deliberate decisions that are consistent with my values and beliefs.

Do you apply ethics in your daily living? How?
— Yes, I apply ethics in my daily living. Ethics tells us what we should do rather than what we already do. We should be kind, compassionate, respectful, and so on toward others. In other words, an ethical person practices incorporating their moral principles and personal qualities into their daily decisions. The character qualities that shape our ethical being are known as virtues.

How do you understand code of ethics?
— A set of guiding principles known as a code of ethics in business is meant to ensure that a company and its personnel behave honestly and honorably in all areas of day-to-day operations and to only take actions that benefit society.

Why is code of ethics important in business?
— A code of ethics is crucial because it outlines expectations for conduct in detail and establishes the foundation for an early warning. Although a code of ethics is frequently not needed, many businesses and organizations prefer to do so since it helps stakeholders recognize and understand a company.

CASTILLON, ALEXANDRA, G.
12 ABM JOBS
Business ethics refers to how ethical principles guide a business's operations. Common issues that fall under the umbrella of business ethics include employer-employee relations, discrimination, environmental issues, bribery, insider trading, and social responsibility.
While many laws exist to set basic ethical standards within the business community, it is largely dependent upon a business's leadership to develop a code of ethics.

Both businesses and trade organizations typically have some sort of code of ethics that their employees or members are supposed to follow. Breaking the code of ethics can result in termination or dismissal from the organization. A code of ethics is important because it clearly lays out the rules for behavior and provides the groundwork for a preemptive warning.

Given the importance of climate change and how human behavior has led to severely impacting the climate, many companies have taken to include climate factors in their code of ethics. These principles include manners in which the company is dedicated to operating sustainably or how they will shift to doing so.

In many cases, this commitment to sustainability adds to the costs of a company, but because consumers are becoming more focused on the types of businesses they choose to engage with, it is often worth the cost to maintain a good public image.

Regardless of size, businesses count on their management staff to set a standard of ethical conduct for other employees to follow. When administrators adhere to the code of ethics, it sends a message that universal compliance is expected of every employee.
