2.  To make sure that all students are focused, the Teacher/Student game is to be played (refer to handout).
3.  List should be a mixed list of words and sounds.
4.  New words should take up a third of the list and be placed at the top of the list.
5.  Mix in words with VCV, CVC, etc.
6.  Sounds should be held for 2 seconds.
7.  Be aware of your finger position and hand placement.  
8. No more than 18 words should make up the word list.
