• In 1998 this information was leaked which led to uproar from the public as well as the U.S Government.
• He was impeached on charges of lying to a grand jury about the affair and obstruction of justice
• Clinton was also fined $90,000 for perjury because of his false confession under oath of not seeing Lewinsky.
