    common women- stayed behind to care for the family when their husbands went to war. a lot of women worked in factories which were dangerous because of poor working conditions. money was hard to come by since factory workers were paid so little.

    Farm women- cared for children and the elderly.

    much like the women in the north, the women in the south worked the businesses their husband worked in. women also took on nursing duties.

    The woman of the house mostly relayed on their slaves to do the most (if not all) the house work. 

    most women took over their plantation once the war began. The women did the best they could do to grow food for their families because more and more slaves would run away to the north.

Because of this indifference the two sides turned violent towards each other and death wiped out a big population in the most gruesome ways.

    social- the common people of the north and south both struggled as providing for families was difficult with low money coming in because of the cost of war. 

    Economy- the south and north disadvantages/advantages both affected how the war played out and the fighting tactics.

    war- inventions were made to be most effective to fight.
