• 15 year old kiddo who originally started the protest. However, she was not used as a public figure because they found out she was pregnant and deemed that to be an inappropriate symbol.

Rosa Parks:

• was the 2nd known person to protest by not moving for a white person.
• Her and her husband were involved in the NAACP.

From then on Newspapers published the boycott, and churches announced it to raise awareness .
