I waste my time by being on my phone and checking social media, or just having no motivation to do anything other than sitting around, for example, when I come home from school, I most the time take a nap. I usually check all me social media before I fall asleep and check the time and realize I had been on my phone for an hour and didn't even realize it. I always find an excuse to where I don't have to do something until the day it's due. It may be a bad habit, but it hasn't negatively affected me yet.

People in America find the most simplest ways to waste time and not even mean to. Some ways people waste time is just by watching TV or netflix. A lot of my friends watch netflix series and spend hours and hours watching episodes. I believe people don't like to stress or worry on what needs to be done, so they just push it to the side to do later which causes them to procrastinate. Social media is also a big distraction. We as a whole feel the need to check Facebook and Instagram and Twitter all the time so we don't "miss" out on the newest news.

The prices I pay due to wasting time and procrastinating are getting behind in a class at school and my grades dropping. This doesn't really affect others because I'm only hurting myself. It could affect my classmates if I didn't do my work with a group assignment causing it to hurt everyones grade.
