Artemis Fowl: The Eternity Code

This book was written by Eoin Colfer, and is fantasy. The tone is adventure. Artemis Fowl in general is about a thirteen-year-old mastermind that stumbles across a fairy race. He acquires their technology and help to do heists and missions. The Eternity Code takes place when Artemis makes one of the greatest computers in the universe. He makes a business deal with a very powerful man, but gets sabotaged and tricked. His bodyguard is shot, and the business man gets away. I recommend this to anyone who enjoys fairy humor, or mystery, or adventure.
