Be accessible to all students: Word walls can be made in the classroom or digitally; therefore, all students can view them when needed.

Be organized by letters: All words should be organized by letters so students can look for a word quickly.

Have a specific purpose: This word wall is sight words, but I could have done vocabulary for reading as well!

Be used and separated in all subjects: This word wall is for reading; however, I could make word walls for other subjects so that students can understand the material more easily.

Be Large and Multicolored: Word walls should be large for students to be able to see from their desks or computer screens. They should also look appealing to students so students will want to view them!
