After his death his great empire spread and separated throughout Jewish communities. That being said many culture blended together because Judea became ruled under Greek rulers. So the Jewish bible was translated into Greek and so many of its aspects were tweaked.

Tension grew between Jews who believed Jesus was the messiah and those that opposed. Many Jews believed the messiah was a warrior yet to come. One that was thought to be like king David, someone who would bring army against enemies. A warrior that would restore Israel to be under Jewish sovereignty.

Jewish leader led revolt against the Romans, but the Roman’s won and put an end to the Jewish revolt. So the culture and civilization was now Roman influenced. However, the Roman’s allowed for the Jewish religion to still be practiced, and it even gained popularity. It made its way around the Roman Empire and many people converted into Judaism.
