I have been studying it since secondary school, and it still has been the subject that I spent most of my time for until now. At first I found it very difficult to remember the new vocabulary as well as grammars; however, I was lucky enough to have a teacher that gave me the way and the passion to study it properly. Instead of learning the words by repeating them, I try to use them frequently in certain sentences which relating to circumstances around me. Besides, I try to write my diary and other small stories in English so that I can learn to use the grammars. English is one of the main subjects at school, and many people have to study it to get a better job. Other subjects are what I need to learn, but English is the one that I can find joy in studying. It appears in many aspects of my life such as music, movies, books, or news. I can easily listen and get well to the American accent whenever I turn on the TV, and for me it is the easiest way to study. I know most of my classmates think that they will not meet Math, History, Chemistry or Physics once they graduate from high school. However, English is the one that will follow us forever, especially when we are reaching out to the world. I am so grateful that English is my favorite subject, and I will never lose the joy in studying it.

He always cares for me and calls my mom in the afternoon just to know that whether I arrive home from school at right time or not. He is very healthy, fit, happy, peaceful and punctual person. He always goes to the office on time and also teaches us to go to school at right time. He teaches us the value of time in life and says that if one wastes his/her time, time ruins his/her life.

He is a very nice person and helps my neighbors in their difficult time. He always loves, cares and respects my mom and never quarrels with her. He always supports her and sometimes, he helps in the kitchen during her illness. He respects and loves my grandparents and teaches us to take care of them. He tells us that old people are like God for us, we should care, love and respect them. We should never avoid the old in their difficult time as this time comes in everyone’s life once. He tells us that we should always help needy people of any age group all through the life according to our status. He takes 15 minutes of us every day to tell us about the ethics and other good habits.

Nam puts on a baseball cap, a simple white T-shirt, a pair of wore out jeans, and black sneakers. He is the leader of our soccer team, so he looks extremely sporty and active in those clothes. Thanh is more into colorful clothes, so he chooses a T-shirt fills with many different cartoon characters, a pair of blue jeans and blue sandals. He looks much younger in this outfit than in his daily school uniform. Trung likes comfortable clothes, so he wears a large black shirt with shorts and flip-flops. His look is very suitable for this hot weather. Long has to travel for a long distance, and he protects himself from the sun by his brown jacket and a pair of sunglasses. Under his jacket is a long sleeves T-shirt, and they all go with his black trousers and sneakers. Many other boys choose to wears jeans and T-shirt, so I guess they are the must-have items for the boys. In my opinion, boys’ clothes are much simpler than girls’, and we also prefer comfortable clothes than fashionable ones.

On this day children make special meals, or visit their fathers if they live apart. When children can’t visit their fathers or take them out for dinner, they send them greeting cards. 
On the greeting card they write something funny to make their fathers laugh or they give thanks to their fathers for always being by their side. 
In Vietnam, Father’s Day is not popular. Few people know about it.
