Internationalization changes the quality of life of any organization

Increasing globalization, the constant change around us requires ever stronger general competencies that help to act in a multicultural environment.

We see a gap between those involved in international activities and those who do not.

Obviously, when talking about preparation for participation in international activities, we should think about various aspects - theoretical, practical training, preparation for communication in foreign language, formulation of specific tasks for ourselves, naming the expected results. Such responsible participation in international activities enables not only to gain knowledge, but also to reflect personal and organizational experience in an international context. Going down this path, we discover that we have good experiences, we can share them, which increases our self-esteem.

My school is an accredited Erasmus school. What we need now is a vision, including more students and more teachers. Many projects and activities are going on, but they don’t seem coordinated. I would like to make the organisation more like an umbrella, where every class have its oen ”sector” of internationalisation, so noone is forgotten. Today the students depend on their teachers will to engage in international work.
It was good having some time learning how to formulate applications correctly.

The aim today was to set up an internationalization plan.
We have worked out a very good strategy and good arguments why the global dimension and its integration into our school curriculum is so important. We have summarized these arguments and formulated goals that we want to pursue with internationalization. It was important to learn that there shouldn't be too many aims in our international policy, but that we should choose a maximum of three. In the objectives, we should think of a way to achieve these goals. It was particularly important that we must not forget our own identity in the context of globalization and that this, together with our own culture, is a particularly important aspect in the context of internationalization, in order to know our own place in the context of globalization and to recognize and appreciate special features to be able to.

We worked on an international policy for our institutions. It was really useful to define reasons why we need it, goals and objectives to achieve internationalization. Obviously, the focus is set on the needs of each institution, thus covering these aspects put some highlights on our school vision and mission in the international field. It is essential to realize what steps are necessary to achieve a certain goal, which then really facilitates the whole process and includes everyone at the institution. Thus, this policy is not just another document to be created and uploaded somewhere, it can serve as a tool to achieve quality in internalization of the institution.
