The younger brother was a kind-hearted boy and a poet. One day, an injured bird came to him seeking help. The boy fed and took care of the bird until it was able to fly again. He had to release the bird before the monsoon rain. Two days later, the bird returned bearing a pumpkinseed. The boy planted the seed, and it grew bigger than two houses. He got rich off the pumpkin, but he didn't take it for granted. However, the older brother became jealous of his younger brother's success. He broke a bird's leg and took care of it, but he took it for granted. He released the bird before the monsoon rain, and it returned two days later carrying a seed. He planted the seed, and it grew as big as his brother's pumpkin. But when he cut it open, he found animals and wasps that started chasing him. In fear, he returned to his younger brother, who welcomed him with open arms.
