A force is an energy that is being used to push, pull or hold something. A motion occurs when two forces are working against each other and one is stronger.

B. A balanced force has equal amounts of force that push on an object at the same time which makes it not more. An unbalanced force occurs when a stronger force moves an object in the direction it is pushing because it overcame the weaker force.

C. Engage was utilized through Nearpod to activate students prior knowledge of motion. Then Mrs. Brazell questioned the students' knowledge and when they answered she said "I don't know" which left them mentally engaged.
Explain the teacher continued to model different forms of motion and questioned students throughout the process to check for comprehension. Through these methods, the teacher is able to evaluate if students can connect the demonstrations to force and motion. It was used to make the learning more meaningful and for students to understand better. Personally, I understand this lesson better because when I first read it I was a little confused. Now having seen observations and explanations I feel that I have a greater understanding.
During elaborate students use a QR code to expand on their learning by finding a picture that relates to two forces acting against each other.  This activity was used for students to make connections to their everyday life.
The evaluation is being done throughout the lesson with guided questioning and based on the feedback it helps further instruction. As well as written feedback on Nearpod in engage and Padlet in explain. Lastly, it is wrapped up in the end with a formative picture activity.
