This is like how a gardener gives water and fertile soil to help flowers grow.

My personal educational philosophy metaphor compares to the other metaphors by using Progressivism's emphasis on flexibility with letting the students be their own individuals, the learners should develop their own questions and understandings. The variety of materials allows for individuals to personalize their learning by cooperating with other students, which is Constructivism.
