         <description><![CDATA[<div><em>"I was taught that the way of progress was neither swift nor easy."<br>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; </em><strong>Marie Curie<br></strong><br>A top student in her secondary school, Curie could not attend the men-only University of Warsaw. She instead continued her education in Warsaw's "floating university," a set of underground, informal classes held in secret. Both Curie and her sister Bronya dreamed of going abroad to earn an official degree, but they lacked the financial resources to pay for more schooling. Undeterred, Curie worked out a deal with her sister. She would work to support Bronya while she was in school and Bronya would return the favor after she completed her studies. For roughly five years, Curie worked as a tutor and a governess. She used her spare time to study, reading about physics, chemistry and math.<br><br></div><div>In 1891, Curie finally made her way to Paris where she enrolled at the Sorbonne in Paris. She threw herself into her studies, but this dedication had a personal cost. With little money, Curie survived on buttered bread and tea, and her health sometimes suffered because of her poor diet. Curie completed her master's degree in physics in 1893 and earned another degree in mathematics the following year.<br>In 1903 Marie Curie became the first woman scientist to win a Nobel Prize; in 1911, she became the first scientist to win two Nobel Prizes. In 1903 Curie received the Nobel Prize in physics along with her husband and Henri Becquerel for their work on radioactivity. With their Nobel Prize win, the Curies developed an international reputation for their scientific efforts, and they used their prize money to continue their research.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>In our country, there is no gender discrimination in our schools. We have teachers and academicians trained in the field of STEM. There is a very beautiful event in our country that takes place in the near future; "<strong>GIS Project</strong>". The GIS (<strong>Girls in STEM</strong>) project is known by the name of Saint Sancar who won the Nobel Prize.<br>The objectives of this project are:<br><br></div><ul><li>To raise the awareness of 6th grade girls about global education and informatics, to help them to understand the differences between cultures better.</li><li>Being able to attract the attention of girls to STEM education from early ages.</li><li>To help integrate Syrian refugee girls into Turkish society and to raise awareness at the point where they can continue their education.</li><li>To encourage girls to consider STEM areas while shaping their future.</li><li>To contribute to the development of STEM-related developments of girls in different countries from early ages and their close appreciation of different cultures.</li><li>To increase the interest of girls in STEM education with the help of daily use practices.</li><li>To help students gain self-confidence in mathematics and science and to make them enjoy learning.</li></ul><div><br></div><ul><li>Encourage girls to take part in team work from early ages.</li></ul>]]></description>

In addition, coal mine management is being carried out in our city. In particular, trained personnel are required for these employment areas. In order to meet this, specialists working in these facilities may come to the school. In addition, maritime activities in our city, agriculture and so on. There are also studies. Experts from official institutions may come to our school. It is very important for the academic experts to meet with the students in our city.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>I hear, I forget <br>I see, I remember <br>I do, I understand</strong><br>This sentence emphasizes the importance of applied learning. This is why vocational and technical education schools are very important. Therefore, Industry 4.0 should be well understood and put into practice.<br>I am working in a high school that provides vocational and technical education.<br>Access levels and desire for employability according to the table;<br>dreamers (14%) or coasters (6%)<br>Success grade is medium and low.<br>In this case, more support is needed on the way to employment from education. The desire to be employed can be achieved through adaptation to new technologies. Vocational training content should be updated.<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>It is nice to offer young students the opportunity to meet a group of professionals or specialists from different STEM-related careers. These specialists and professionals can reach more students by visiting schools. Interactive and informal interviews with learners provide a more intimate environment. Career guidance for this activity seems to be more effective.</div>]]></description>
