Power and authority can be described in many different ways. They can both be used in such big ways such as political, social, society, and economically. This affects education because there are lots of different statuses as in being the head of the school board, principal, dean, vice principal, teacher, lunch workers, janitors, students. These different statuses show how important each one is. As in a teacher teaches a student and a principal is in charge of a teacher and a student's actions. Some steps that I will take going into adulthood would be having more power, authority, and respect. I will try my best to earn these three important things so I can be successful and won't have to worry about anything else except myself. This shows how power and authority is such a huge thing in our society.

Belief and Ideology is such a huge impact on your life but especially who you are. The agents of socialization impact what I believe in because it is different in many ways more than one. Every person is born into a religion or race that may or may not have some things to accomplish. Like in family they might expect you to follow in their beliefs and in their religion. My peers like my parents are catholic/christian depending on the parent itself. As of media my parents do not really care as of what might be currently happening because they are always busy with other important tasks. With my mother being Mexican while my father is Colombian along with being Japanese may have its difficulties with political events. My parents are liberal willing to respect new things happening in our society. My beliefs and values don't really clash with my family's religion because they are liberal enough to let me believe in what I want to. When beliefs and values break bad it can be a huge problem. There would be so much arguments about how one side is better than the other or how they have more or less authority.

The devices that I mainly use are my phone, Air pod's, and Chromebook. I only use my phone whenever i'm bored and have nothing to do. The chrome book I obviously only use for education purposes. Some positive things while using these devices is getting up to date with what is currently happening like the news. Some negative effects are using the phone too much and getting too attached to it. This affects children at a young age because they rely on using technology all the time when they feel like it. Some companies like Youtube or even social media platforms can be very addicting to watch which leads you to being unable to let go of your phone due to being very distracted. But I do think that technology has impacted my life in a positive way as well because it has given me more opportunities to further my education deeper and it allows me to stay in contact with people. It allows me to learn more about the world and other parts of it. It lets me learn new things about different cultures and how different our society is different to others.

Some elements of culture that affect my life are ethnicity, music, language, food, sport, and education. Some aspects of my culture that I enjoy is mainly how everyone comes together to celebrate and acknowledge our similarities and differences in my family. Some things that I would change about my culture is maybe changing how some people aren't so liberal as other people in our family. Some media that shapes who I am is maybe the news because I see so many things happening in the world and what may or may not be fake news. My generation is culturally different from the previous ones because my generation has learned to freely express themselves without caring about peoples opinions. We are basically more liberal while the previous generations weren't so much.

Have and have not's has affected our society in such different ways, even today. Many people argue and disagree with each other about what they have and don't have. In my family we sometimes argue about how some might have less or more than others. In the neighborhood I live in (Darien, Willowbrook) it is a good one compared to the ones in some parts of Chicago. Which might be due to some financial problems with people who aren't so fortunate. Where I attend school it is such a huge upgrade than going to a regular public school like CPS which doesn't give you as many opportunities as this one. Like I said some society's and communities may not be fortunate with some things like others which is something they don't have and something we have.
