This lesson is useful to the international student to study English and access to the language course. Furthermore, i learn a lot at the class. 

I have learnt about three tasks in this class. The first task is talking about how to be a good language learner. We used several games to finish this part. For example, rate each of factors from 1 to 5 which analysis the most important feature about the learner. From the relaxing atmosphere. we shared a large numbers of advice to each other and talk a lot in English, i love the study style in it.
Also in the task two.it is introduce the aspect of the way of learning English, including speaking, reading, Add to dictionary got many grateful website about kinds of parts. Those website all in English and i ever don't seem that before. Moreover, i learned about the different times of sentences., like present, past. I remember to learned this knowledge in my country but the teacher like to use to analysis in Chinese, and they liked to speaker more concept within less practice to the student. So it is totally different in UK. I can receive the knowledge in simple and do the homework after the class. so it will train the dependent of students.
Task three is about the seminar skills. we did discussion in the class and adjust which point is the most important to the international student. After the rate of the information. The student had their own opinion and finally shared the thought with others. Not only to impact the student study style but also to make the student more confident.

The book name is Reflective Practice which the author is Gillie Bolton. the reason that I borrowed this book is even Tomasz said that reflective is an key point if your want to be a great English learner. This book total divided into twelve chapter. Gillie argues forcefully and persuasively that conducting these kinds of internal dialogues is not enough and that an essential component of reflective analysis is writing.
The important contents of reflective is about reflective practise journals. For example. reflective practice journals including types of writing.(how, when, where).In the end, your will have a habbit that to learn the modelling critical reflexivity. it is important teachers first model how they try to  unearth and research their own assumption.
I really to the information about the developing the five stages. This five stages are described and exemplified in an ideal order. including list-someone make a list of things which prevent themselves, ranging from it is really what I want to do.
Unsent Letters-writing can seem to place experiences  outside  the writer, so rereading seems like hearing an outside communication.
dialogue to develop aspects of ourselves and internal mentor.
those tow point is the last point of the aspect. it is about writing can enable contact with these hitherto enigmatic selves.
the other is wise self who gives helpful guidance and support.
it was pity thing that the book just can borrow one week, so I need to read it in quickly. Or I can find some way that whether I can renew the book more that one week or not. It is so benefit to the international student read the book at library after their class. because not only it is important to learn at the class nut also we should have more spare time to improve our English at different ways.

let me make an summary which things I learned in this week.
There are totally in 4 lesson that I learned, including language learning, Seminar skills, Using the library and  E-mails. it is always included discussion and reflection in ever lesson. So I believe that discussion and reflection are most important to the international student studying abroad.
My most favourite contents are 
useful phrases which in the lesson 2-seminar skills. There are four situation that we can use the phrases when u want to speak in seminar. For example in my perspective can be used when you want to give opinion.
Also you will disagree to other people opinion. so u can use 'I beg to differ....', it will be more behaviour to more formal. I really think that skills are suitable to international students to use it. Because we will have some seminar after we finish the language course. that will be more helpful to us in the future. 
Furthermore, we need to finish a formal e-mail for a homework. it  is such a per-practise to us and we will good to write different kind of formal e-mail to teacher or tutor in the future.
this lesson are all suitable to us learn and we will fact to different kind of problem during the studying. so I really like the contents which teaches us in the class. what's more, Tomasz are great at teaching in the class, we are all enjoy in it because of the relaxing study atmosphere.  we had a lot of time to talk with the group member and change the idea to each other. 
in conclusion, I think we are not only just study in the class but also having time to practise our English after the class. such some people like to borrow some academic or language book in the library. but I prefer to watch the link which Tomasz send to us in the class. I think it is much better and suit to us to learn online.

But it is such a big different to the week two, we have a new topic in today which is about globalisation. we follow to the old study style to have a discussion at firstly. talking about what do u understand by the term globalisation and the positive things& impact to ur country. Oh, i forget to talk about a interesting thing is we get a big white paper to write down our answer to the question into the group. After that, we need to show about our labour product to everyone.so we are not only to show our group answer But also can see the answer of each group. This is too useful to me.
i am so prefer to the paper education. For example, we knew the advantage of globalisation improved communication and development of technology. Many human being use internet and mobile phone now. And also improved transport, free trade agreement and free trade agreements and the growth of MNCS. all of this point is really suitable to us to put that into our presentation. It seems to me. if i want to really improved my English. i need to take the note the view of different topic. Because you will have a impact to the information if you practise before. So you will know that how to talk with others. It is most important things that improve your confident when you speak a lot to others.
Furthermore, we need to keep training in a numbers of time so that it will improve your memory of the topic. I think that the reason of similar topic is easier to student to cogitate deeply about the global problem. So in today's lesson, we talk about why the global warming appearing and the effects to the earth.
Firstly, because of the growth of populations, more and more people drive car as their the way of going out. Therefore, the harmful emissions from cars become the most cause of global warming. In addition, with the development of economic, people need more and more source of earth, such as burning fossil, fuels, coal, gas and oil. from the process, it will release a gas which the name is methane and this will become the biggest killer to the global warming. also having others reason, like deforestation, increasing chemical pollution- greenhouse effect gases. Those causes make a reduction in rainfall in some areas. And the temperature falling so that the melting ice caused a rise in sea level. Besides, it will  destroy the habitats of wild animals that many animals species fact to extinction. To the human being, Increasing the fog haze in many big city. For example, people live in Beijing should wear a mask if they want to go outside. Also the problem of rising in temperatures and making some areas drier. it will fact to the problem with population migrations caused by lack of food.
From the lesson, I learn about how bad to the global warming when it bring to the human and animals. so we should try our best to protect the environment.
Such as producing your vehicle emissions and ride a bicycle or take the public bus or metro as more as possible.

The main content is from the development of technology. Internet become the most changing to human life. The greatest success stories is Wikipedia. It is the free online encyclopaedia, which is compiled and updated by its users. 
The passage show us how stronger about the internet in 21st century.and having some advantage of development of internet. people can connect in globalisation and get more useful in the life. 
Besides, the another important knowledge is grammar about verb patterns. from that time, I just confuse by the difficult grammar. the book show us some words for the example. like the word about remember. the verb +-ingot infinitive with different meanings. Remember  to bring the tickets. we need them for our flight.(+-infinitive: thinking about a future action). On the other hand, I remember watching the Olympics in 2004.(+-inform: thinking about an earlier action). and also having many this verb. like try doing and try to do something. it is between that make an effort and do something as an experiment. 
 To me, I think after the lesson, it is necessary to me that find some similar to the verb patterns practise book in the library. Because this is one of most basic knowledge in the English. it need the international student clear know how to use it in different times.

This may be group presentation or an individual presentation. Therefore becoming a good presenter is a vital skill.
what should presentation do?
it is most important to use good body language and maintain good eye-contact. also the speaker need to talk in very clearly. so that most people like to do a lot of practice before they begin the presentation. On the other hand, the speaker should interact with audience during their presentation. also they should know how to manage their stress so that will make a great successful to their presentation.
However, what is the speaker should not do in their presentation? firstly the speaker does not stare at participants, because it is rude behaviour. and also does not mumble and speak quietly fast. Sometimes, the speaker like to increasing their speak speed for show more information to the audience. But it will make the audience feel too boring and not want to keep listen. Furthermore, the speaker should not read their note when they are speaking. it show that this person are not confident in their presentation.so I suggest that people may be write down their key word or their idea in their presentation with a clearly chart. it will help they remember to the information what they want to speak and also abundant of their message of presentation.

Speaking a language well involves developing a number of different aspects. If you are very weak in one particular area, this can really affect your ability to communicate.
following the list is about the key word's definition of presentation. Fluency is the ability to speak easily and smoothly. Accuracy is the ability to work or perform without making mistake.
Pronunciation is to make the sound of(a word or letter) with your voice. Stress are  greater loudness or force given to a syllable or word in speech. and intonation is the rise and fall in the sound of your voice when you speak.
Another usual technique for giving a presentation is using 'signposting language'. Presenters will use cue words or signposting expressions that indicate to the listener what to expect.
What's more, we have a matching to the signposting expression. To identify the function about introducing the topic and overview( outline of presentation), finishing a section, starting a new section, summarising and invitation to discuss/ask questions.
I have some skill to share with you is the power posing( open arms, hands on tips, straight back), increases confidence and reduces stress by increasing testosterone and reducing cortisone levels respectively. There are some website introduce to you if you feel that you struggle to make a visual statement and lack confidence when presenting.

Use a lot of blush, such as flashing images, animations, music and sound effects which will make your presentation more exciting and help it stand out.
Make sure your slides are uniform. This means that each slide has a similar label, color, format and so on. This helps it look very professional.
It is important to have as much information as possible on each slide. This will help the audience understand your speech.
It is useful to read the information in the slide into the viewer. This will help make your point clear.
Slides should be as short as possible, including only key points or statistics. This will help the audience to follow the structure, but it also means that they will listen to you.
When preparing slides, be sure to consider where you want to attend. This will help you determine the correct font size, pictures, and so on.
Minimize the number of slides you plan to use. For a ten-minute speech, no more than eight slides.
Never put the text on the picture, so that the audience can make it difficult to read.
Use a similar color combination, such as red / green, brown / green, creature / black, blue / purple. This will make your slideshow visually appealing.
