I'm Rumana Rafique from Dhaka, Bangladesh. I work as a Lecturer in the Department of English at the University of Dhaka. I completed my BA (Hons) in English and MA in Applied Linguistics and English Language Teaching (ELT) from the same department and university. You can see my profile here. Last year I went to pursue my second master's degree in TESOL at the University of Manchester, UK on a Commonwealth scholarship. I had the best time of my life and learned and enjoyed myself to the fullest. Apart from teaching, grading assignments, etc., I am passionate about exploring new technologies (software, applications, etc) for teaching and learning. I love reading books, and collecting as many as possible even if I do not get the time to read them all. I also love learning languages and playing chess and badminton. I tried to learn French and completed courses till B1.3 at the Alliance Française de Dhaka before I left for Manchester. I need to start again I think. There are so many languages I want to learn and be able to speak in. Apart from these, I grew interest in travelling around the world but haven't done much yet. Lets see what can I explore in the coming years. Thought to add more.. I love watching movies too, especially detective movies and TV series. My latest favourite is Broadchurch, a British crime drama. It has an US remake too, titled Gracepoint. Finally, I love coffee and I struggle to start my day without a mug of coffee! A mug, indeed...!

I'm from Gazipur. I was born and brought up in Dhaka. Due to my father's posting, I got to see many places of Bangladesh, such as Chattogram, Kushtia, Bogura, Chuadanga and many more. Since then, travelling and exploring new places have become one of my favourite things. I love to listen to songs and to sketch, make portraits etc.

I'm Ateka Joarder and I am from Dhaka. I like to eat much and much. I love to taste different types of foods of different countries. besides, I love to sleep and travel. I love writing different types of articles and I enjoy it very much. I hardly can speak Urdu and French. Honestly speaking, I really love the department of anthropology in University of Dhaka. our classmates, our seniors, our teachers are just amazing. I really wish that after 4 years I will be able to gather a lot of memorable and wonderful experiences with them.

I have a great desire to study in abroad but after taking some degrees ,I will come back to my country and join a renowned company. but I am looking to getting the opportunity of joining DU Faculty. Let me introduce myself. My name is Rifat Khan Hrithika. Currently I’m living in Dhaka but my birthplace was Rajshahi. Rajshahi is my favourite city and also it’s my grandparents place. As my father is a Banker, I lived in so many places and met many people. I’ve studied in eight different schools.

My aim was to be an engineer, but I was too bad in math and physics. So I changed my decision in college life. By the grace of Allah now I’m studying in this department. Being a student of DU , I’m so grateful .

Yeah i just love to read when i have time.My reading habit is fading as I'm getting older,but still nothing gives me more joy than reading a good book in a calm weather.I have a passion for footbalI;i watch and play it when I'm free.I'm also into TV series and movies.I try to enjoy and learn from them.I never really thought about my future,but i would like to be a part of the musical industry someday.Probably a guitarist in a band?I don't know.If that doesn’t work out,i wanna be a photographer.I'm not good with people which is like a big thing in photography,but i see things differently and enjoy the idea of capturing life in a frame.And as I'm studying Anthropology,that'll be an advantage for me I guess.And being a student of the country's most decorated university?
