Software piracy, Intellectual property, cultural variables, Trends
An analysis on the impact several cultural variables has on software piracy (as opposed to the then-status-quo of blaming psychology.)
This article outlines an important point in my thesis; that piracy is a cultural phenomenon and cannot be accurately isolated down to an individual level.
It is very reliable, as it has been published by the Journal of Business Ethics. It is outdated, so I will probably have to work that into any references I make to it.

My main concern here is the article's personality factor, and the idea that negative incentives can sometimes increase piracy.
It was published by Arizona State University, so it is a reliable source from what I can tell.
