Brush twice a day with a soft bristle toothbrush. It can also be beneficial to use an electric toothbrush.

Clean between your teeth once a day with floss or other interdental cleanser.

If you have full or partial dentures, remember to clean it daily. Remove dentures from the mouth for a minimum of four hours every day. The ideal is to extract it at night.
Drink running water. Since it usually contains fluoride, it helps prevent tooth decay, regardless of age.

Stop smoking. In addition to increasing the risk of lung cancer and other cancers, smoking aggravates problems of gum disease, tooth decay and tooth loss.

Visit the dentist. Visit the dentist regularly for a complete dental checkup.

By adopting healthy oral habits at home, making smart diet and lifestyle decisions and requesting regular dental care, you can help your teeth last a lifetime, whether you have natural teeth, implants or dentures.
