2. Nonmaleficence
In no occasion in the experiment should participants be placed in a situation whereby their physical, mental or emotional well-being will face extensive or long-lasting trauma that compromises their ability to return to their life outside of the experiment. Any harm to the physical or emotional state of the participant should be minimised as much as possible. Any violation of these safety measures, regardless of intention, should result in the participant receiving compensation (healthcare, therapy, welfare, etc) in order to aid the affected participant recover.

3. Respect for Personal Dignity and Autonomy
All participants should be respected and have their dignity maintained throughout the entirety of the experiment. This dignity includes personal or sensitive information, public perception/reputation and ability to choose (eg: to leave the experiment at any point where they feel uncomfortable continuing). This also means that those conducting the experiment should not take advantage of or discriminate against participants, regardless of ethnicity, religion or background. All participants should be treated equally (in terms of pay, and so on) and should not be exploited due to their socio-economic status or other relevant demography.
