This is not a series.
My friend read this book and he said it was good.
The book is in the point of view of Cracker the German Shepard.  So far this book is about a dog named Cracker who lived with a family.  She lived with a boy named Willie.  Willie spent most of his time with her and taught her 90 words.  Cracker then was taken away to go to vietnam because Willie and his family could not own Cracker anymore. They lived in a small apartment and were told to get rid of Cracker many times and where supposed to get rid of her for a while but did not. Cracker is then assigned to a man in the army named Rick.  Cracker hated everyone in the army and did not listen or like Rick at all.  But then Cracker started to get along with Rick because he was nice to her and cared about her.  He then started to train with her and she listened more.  This is where i am in the book at the moment.
