Their focus on racism is highly controversial but provides an interesting overlook on the monarchy.  One specific takeaway of this documentary is that because the institution protects it's social image, they have not spoken out about these allegations.

- Non-compete clauses restrict job choice for employees; firms use these clauses in order to break down their competition 
- The Federal Trade Commission is trying to crack down on the non-compete clauses, but allies of the clause argue that it protects trade secrets 
- Trade secrets can be guarded through IP law and non-disclosure agreements, however, clauses are even more restrictive and are often categorized as predatory industry practices. 
- Ex. In 2014, Jimmy John’s snuck a non-compete clause into their employees’ contracts and they eventually had to remove it. 
- Washington state restricts non-compete clauses to the contracts of high-earners; California banned non-compete clauses.
