2 Fred there dad parented his kid vey wrong and made them be like him  and changed there perspective on reality and doesn't know what a real family is like.

1 it a mirror because well i have experienced racism towards me a couple times and also The book had a lot of police brutality like what is happening right now with the new shooting. 
2 its a window because yes i have experienced racism but not to his extent with police arresting him and shooting him and ending up killing his friend. 
3 It's also a mirror because maybe wiltons more diverse than the school he went to its still 84 percent white and 8 percent asian.
