Medications: Medications are semi effective but can lead to Dizziness and unsteadiness, increasing the risk of falls and bone fractures.

Psychotherapy: This is more so effective but can result in Treatment failure and deterioration of symptoms, emergence of new symptoms, suicidality, occupational problems or stigmatization, changes in the social network or strains in relationships, therapy dependence, or undermining of self‐efficacy.

Day treatment programs: This is more so effective due to the only side effect being restlessness.

Substance abuse treatment: This is less effective and can intensify the highs and lows of Bi-Polar disorder also messing with your moods/feelings.

Hospitilization: This is not effective because its a personal choice to stay in the Hospital although it doesnt have any direct side effects it can lead to overthinking more towards a negative path.

Site: Treatment to Bi-Polar Disorder site 3
