I am Buddhist and pray to multiple gods such as Budddha,Quan Yin and Qi Gong in my religion we pray at temples monthly to pay our respects by preparing a feast for the gods to eat. In our religion we pray for our deceased family members every year as a 'death birthday' and we burn paper houses,paper money and paper clothing for them to have in heaven. We have a blessed statue of Quan Yin in which we have an incense pot infront and we offer our prayers everyday.

The word Islam means “submission to the will of God.”

Followers of Islam are called Muslims.

Muslims only worship one God, who is known to them as Allah.

Islam followers main purpose is to live a life of submission to Allah. They believe that everything can't happen without Allah’s permission, however,humans have free will.

Mosques are considered religous places where Muslims worship.

Some important Islamic holy places include the Kaaba shrine in Mecca, the Al-Aqsa mosque in Jerusalem, and the Prophet Muhammad’s mosque in Medina.

The Quran is considered to them as the holy text of Islam. The Hadith is also another important book to them

Followers worship Allah by praying and reciting the Quran. Muslims believe that after death there eventually will be a day of judgment, and life.

As a catholic, I go to church every Sunday. I also try to abstain from meat on Fridays, although in school there is barely anything without meat. One main part of Catholicism is that we believe in The holy trinity, The father, the son, and the holy spirt. We believe that God sent his only son, Jesus, down to earth to pay for our sins by dying on the cross for us. One holiday people are not really aware about us that Christmas is a Christian holiday. Christmas is the day Jesus was born in a manger in Bethlehem. People nowadays give presents to each other to remind everyone about the greatest gift god gave us. Jesus.

I believe in one GOD as I am a catholic. I believe that GOD is a trinity comprised of the father, the son and of the holy spirit.

I practice praying before eating meals. I also practice praying in the morning and night as well as attending mass during the weekends 🙏. I practice not eating meat on Fridays as well. I serve in my church as a lector during my Ministry Involvement Programme. I applied to be a facilitator for catechism in my church.

Although I am a free thinker, I respect other religions and am willing to learn about some religions like catholicism. Based off what I understand, the main beliefs that Catholics hold include the following: There is only one God. Jesus Christ is the divine son of God. God is a trinity comprised of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Some events catholics celebrate are Easter and Christmas. Easter is celebrated with a mass, and in the weeks prior to there are readings and sermons about the death and resurrection of the Lord. On Christmas, Catholics go for 4 different masses, the Vigil Mass, on Christmas Eve, Midnight mass, Dawn Mass and Christmas day mass.

I am Christian, in christianity, we celebrate Good Friday, thanksgiving and Christmas.

For Good Friday, we go for mass to redeem our sins for the year. For thanksgiving, my family will celebrate by hosting a dinner with turkey,and different dishes For Christmas we celebrate with cake and do secret Santa with family members

Buddhism is an Indian religion or philosophical tradition practiced by many people across the world. My family is traditionally Buddhist and we practice Buddhist traditions and belief. For example, we visit the temple to pray to Buddha and Bodhisattva, and other various deities for good health and studies. We celebrate festivals like the Nine Emperor God's Festival (although a traditionally taoist tradition, my family will attend this festival yearly), Vesak day, Bodhi day and Buddha day. During the duration of these festivals, it is usually custom to carry out one or two weeks of soley vegetarian diets to cleanse our bodies of impurities before we step foot into the temples. On occasions like the Vesak Day, my family will come together in one house to celebrate and then go to the temple where we will be able to bathe a statue of a Buddha for luck, good health and blessings.
