The steps I think I'll need to achieve this goal is to graduate high school and while I have a semester off I'll take classes that I can, they'll have to do with what job I want. Then I'll start college and decide what jobs I want. I'll find jobs that will hire me after college and after 2 years I'll graduate with my associates and start my job. I'll work hard to make something of myself at my job and ill work hard to get a better position and after a while I'll hope to meet someone and have kids. I think the obstacles that I will face along the way is not being able to decide what job I want and I think finding a job in the right location will be difficult. I think the personal challenges I will face is making everyone proud and being happy with my decision. The obstacles she faced was she never had the money and being an African American in Chicago during the 1950's was difficult. Her upbringing helped her her in chasing her dream because she was taught to work for the things you want. I am from losing my grandpa and being really sad for a long time. From being more appreciate of the time I have and telling my family “I love you” every chance I got.

I am from spending every weekend with my grandma and getting food every Friday. From almost losing her twice and always making sure she’s taking better care of herself.

I am from the first day of high school and being really nervous. From finally being comfortable and more open at school.

I am from joining ROTC and being terrified that I would mess up. From realizing that joining that class was the best decision I ever made, that class has made me into a better person.
