         <description><![CDATA[<div><br>No fire had ever grown as big as the Great Fire of London before. It's thought that the fire started in a baker's shop belonged to the king's baker in Pudding Lane.</div><div>The fire spread quickly towards the River Thames and London Bridge.&nbsp;</div><div>As the fire reached the River Thames, it passed over warehouses full of flammable materials like oil, which quickly set on fire. After just a few hours, London Bridge was on fire too. The fire was stopped from reaching the south side of the river because a section of the bridge was missing.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><br>It is a totally fictitious but widely believed plot in which it was alleged that Jesuits were planning the assassination of King Charles II in order to bring his Roman Catholic brother to the throne. The Popish Plot ended as quickly as it had begun, though one of the lasting legacies was that Catholics were forbidden to stand as MP’s or in the Lords for many more years. However, a number of Catholics had been executed as a result of the hysteria created.</div>]]></description>
