Last week I think by taking my stirrups away and working Ditto on a circle helped both of us. It helped me sit up straighter and open and keep my shoulders back. It got me looking round the circle to ensure my circle sizes were consistent and even in shape. For Ditto I think being on a circle for the exercise was beneficial for her consistent suppleness and responses to my aids, for example transitions from the walk to trot and trot to walk. I feel like it also helped with her stiffness as by the end she felt much more relaxed and looser by the end.
