In the first season of FRIENDS, she was this woman who doesn’t know a single thing about being independent or by herself. She took a risk by leaving her own wedding/family to get what she wants, to build her own life in a new city.

In short, she’s new to that environment. She doesn’t have any idea what to do.

And this is what I am feeling right now. I came from a really small school with a small environment. I dont have a single knowledge about interacting in big university like UST. Like her, I took a risk joining MAD even though, I don’t know how to draw or anything about music, art, design. I just know that I’m willing to learn like what she did.

As the show progress, her character development is quite astounding. She became this independent, successful woman. She started from being a waitress in a coffee shop and ended up having a conflict between choosing two high fashion brands. Louis Vuitton and Ralph Lauren.

I picked two of them since they are the ones whom I relate to most. The first character I picked is Josee from Josee, The Tiger and The Fish, it was an amazing movie and the plot was interesting too. I think she and I have a lot in common, not just by the hair but in the personality too. Josee was kind of shy throughout the whole film, but as the movie progresses she slowly becomes comfortable in the outside world and to Tsuneo. The next character I picked is Smile from the movie Words Bubble Up Like Soda pop. We don't have that much in common in personalities since Smile is a bubbly girl, which really lives up to her name. The only thing I can relate in her character is the fact that she's insecure about her teeth, she has an overbite and has braces, like me. Smile would always wears a mask so that people wouldn't make fun of her appearance but it's the thing I like most about her. Well, at the end of the movie she found someone that can appreciate the thing she was insecure about and I think that's pretty sweet :)

Being a fan of animations, choosing a character from a series or movie I resonate with was something I had to give a lot of thought. But I would say I would really love to experience being Violet from "Violet Evergarden". The series itself is such an emotional experience ♡ and definitely worth a watch.

Violet's journey throughout the series, and the things she learns are things I want to experience for myself. The setting of the series is so enchanting yet has subtle dark hints, and I really admire the story telling of it all. Violet used to be a child soldier in a war until her general, whom she is most loyal to, goes missing and she has to start a new life outside the cold war she's only ever known. It may all sound tragic but she goes through so many things and her job as a "doll" is one that I admire. I too, enjoy writing letters. I find that I express myself well through ink and paper. And the value of a letter, unspoken words recorded on a white sheet is such a fascinating thing to me. Not a lot of people may relate me to Violet, because of her personality and character traits. She's quiet and robust, she's naïve and blunt. And I may actually well be the opposite to that. But I really resonate with her feelings and I think, we share this strong sense of duty and hoping for a strong fulfillment on a topic most close and precious to us. In a sense, I relate most to her in an emotional level. It's maybe hard to see but I think that's what fascinated me the most after giving it some more thought, even I had to look really close.

I actually enjoy cosplaying and have been for a while. It's something I truly miss ever since the pandemic happened. And I suppose after cosplaying Violet once, I really keep her and the amazing series close to my heart.

If I were to be a character from the show that I binge-watched, I would be Haruhi Fujoika from Ouran High School Host Club. Haruhi is a responsible, honest and practical type of person as she is focused on maintaining her scholarship in the prestigious Ouran Academy. She is not without flaws, nevertheless. Just like her, I see myself as a responsible person because being an only child, I am sometimes on my own as my mom is not constantly around to remind me of the things that I need to do. One more thing that I can relate to is how I was taught by my mom about the value of money and how to be a practical and wise spender. Haruhi grew up without a mom as her mother died when she was only 5 years old. I can easily empathize with her in this aspect as well. The only difference is that, I grew up with just my mom by my side.

I can relate myself to Mari Tamaki from the anime series titled "A Place Further than the Universe".
In the first episode of the series she tries to escape the mundanity of her life by going to places she's never been before. But at the last minute she didn't go. She later confessed that she decided not to go because she was scared. She was scared of trying new things because it might fail or she might come to regret it.
But after crossing paths with a girl named Shirase Kobuchizawa that goes to the same school, she was intrigued with the girl's goal to go to Antarctica. As she was telling Shirase that she believed in her she asked if she can help her, which led to Shirase invited her to join her to Antarctica.
She was so frustrated with herself in the fact that she quits things last minute that she decided to join Shirase to experiece something she's never done before.

I can relate myself to Mari/Kimari for this same fear of failure. I try my best to stick to the same everyday routine, especially now that we're locked in our houses, that I've come to fear the thought of trying new things only to fail at them in the end. But as I've heard and read countless of times it doesn't matter if you fail because we all do, that's part of life. So I try to do more new things every now and then even if some of them are small things to overcome this fear.
She also strives to be there for her friends and shows her care and loyalty to them everyday and that is another thing I'd like to think I can relate to as well.

I could relate to him about on how he can stand up again despite of trials, difficulties, and struggles that may come until he can reach his dreams and finds happiness. For me, I think I am the kind of a person who will fight and face for any challenges in life. I have that perseverance but I can be tired as well, I tend to look down of myself and stumble but I always have that mindset who can stand up again to face those challenges and never give up easily. In the movie, after PT Barnum finally reaching his dreams and having the greatest show, he eventually changing as a person. Here, I realized that the more we have, the more we want. Hallooo!! My name is Jostein (pronounced as “jos-teyn”) and I just turned seventeen about week ago. I don’t really have a nickname but if you have one in mind, give it a go!! I love exploring and discovering something new, may it be travelling, learning interesting skills, or finding puzzle pieces to myself. A couple of things that captures my interest are music and arts which basically explains why I chose MAD. The truth is…it was quite an impulsive decision for me to take up this strand. Although I can pick up the keyboard and ukulele or have a tad skill in drawing, I am no expert in any of it. On the bright side, I am ready to learn more! The character I have in mind is Spider-Man…I mean HE’S JUST SO COOL! I am definitely still living a 7 year old’s fantasy *sigh*. He is my favorite character truly and I do resonate with him! She seems to be my spirit animal as a risk-taker, and I saw various similarities between me and her. Sam loves good old '70s classics in music — I do too! — and always looks out for her friends, despite the heavy, emotional states they have and the trauma that they might share. We both have that situation, nevertheless, she keeps her spirits up and shows them that she cares through thick and thin. I was born on September 16, 2004, making me 16 years old as I type this down. I have multiple art interests - photography, graphic design, music, and many more. I also play sports, specifically Badminton and Swimming. I am a writer as well, but I lean on the creative side. If I were to choose among all the characters of all movies and shows, I would pick Blanca Evangelista from an eye-opening show, Pose. Blanca Evangelista is one of the main characters of Pose, which is a transgender and the mother of the House of Evangelista. As what is stated in the latter sentence, she is a mother figure to her children - which are her very close friends that she considers family. She took care of them and supported them with all of their goals as long as it doesn't badly affect other people. The House of Evangelista competes with other Houses every week at the ballroom, styling, and brainstorming several ideas on what to do and wear on the runway as they present it to the audience.

Out of all the many characteristics of Blanca, I most relate to her thoughtful self. She always thinks about what other people feel regarding or not regarding her actions and words. She is also a risk-taker and an encouraged person. Blanca will always fight for what's right even there is no one on her side. She is an understanding and caring person, which I also am. There are many problems that she went through, but she conquered all of them. Mistakes are bound to be made as we are all imperfect, and Blanca made several ones. Most, if not all, of her mistakes are out of love and care. But, she always learns something about the mistakes she made. I relate to all of the characteristics that I have mentioned about Blanca Evangelista, and I would also make some of her decisions.

There is still a lot more to know about Blanca Evangelista, and there are also several things to know more about me. And for my fellow blockmates and schoolmates, my professors as well, it is for them to find those out.

I have a very bubbly and energetic personality with a great sense of humor I love entertaining the people around me despite being an ambivert. My hobbies include drawing, reading books, dancing, painting, and binge-watching tv series amidst hectic schedules ;)) . Last summer, I develop a fascination with paranormal, true crime, and mystery stories. These stories captivate my attention because growing up I have a lot of paranormal encounters and I love watching mystery movies.

The character that I can relate to the most is Miranda Bailey from Grey's Anatomy. As I watch the show, I was captivated by her role and found traits that I share with her. Just like me, Miranda is very competitive in everything that she does, driven by passion to succeed and execute things properly. Another trait that we share is our proactiveness, both of us despise having too much free time; we tend to look for things to keep us busy and occupied but stop when we feel overwhelmed and exhausted. Lastly, Miranda and I show our love, affection, and care in ways that are not easily recognizable by many which is often through actions but rarely through words.
