I'm from the Netherlands, but living in Germany. I guess you can see it on the name, it's a dutch name ;)
I live in Tübingen, south of Germany. I have 2 children.
In the Netherlands I studied social work.

I like to be outside. In the Netherlands I was a member of the 'Nederlandse Jeugdbond voor Natuurstudie' (NJN) and of course of the Nivon (Nature friends there). Now, we are a member of the 'Naturfreunde'. 
We cycle a lot (last summer we cycled with our kids from Karlsruhe to the netherlands) and I like to camp and walk. 
Right now, we watch 'Taskmaster', a British tv-program in where it's very aloud to think 'out of the box', and I like that. Besides, I like the British humor ;)

Right now, I am in Salamanca, Spain as an Erasmus-student. Iˋm training to be a kindergarten teacher and in 5 weeks i will finally write my exam. And I am very much looking forword to the future. 
But i have also been working with children and young people on a voluntary basis since 2008. Iˋm with the Naturefriends youth NRW for about 5 or 6 years now. 
In my free time, i like to go hiking or bush exercices, but i also like to do Yoga or read. At the moment i prefer to read books by Sebastian Fitzek. 
One of my favorite movies is Alice in Wonderland.

I currently work at Muslim Charities Forum in London on a project to increase the capacity of charities in the UK to respond to local disasters.

Last year I participated in the three parts of the Climate Justice youth exchange series with IYNF as well as working full time in international youth development in France and Denmark, so I am really excited to further develop my skills and learn new things in this course :)
